~Chapter 27~Aftermath

As the last remains of Voldemort were swept away by the winds, Avalon walked over and picked up the wand. 

"And this belongs to MY family, not you." Avalon seethed as she pocketed the wand and turned to walk back to the castle when a flash of white came at her and pulled into a strong hug. 

"DON'T.YOU.EVER.PULL.A.STUNT.LIKE.THAT.AGAIN!" Tommy said as he kissed Avalon after every word and she laughed. 

"I can make no promises." Avalon said as she leaned her head on his chest, closing her eyes. 

"It's over.....he is gone....it's all over." Avalon said as the two walked back to the castle as the other rangers ran and hugged her. Avalon powered down and walked in as everyone turned and looked at her. Harry and Daisy ran and hugged their older sister before letting Sirius and Remus hug her, followed by her father. 

"I am so proud of you, Avalon." James whispered into his daughter's hair as she laughed. 

"Avalon, one of the paintings wants to speak with you at once." Luna said as she walked over to the purple ranger and hugged her before walking away. 

Avalon shrugged and turned to find the painting, Tommy following her as she did so. 

"So, I take it he is finally gone?" The painting of an older man, dressed in purple robes, asked Avalon as she walked over to it.

"He is...Riddle is gone now. Oh, Tommy this is Merlin, yes THAT Merlin. He is an ancestor of mine through my grandmother. Merlin, this is Tommy Oliver...my boyfriend." Avalon said as she took Tommy's hand in hers and Merlin turned and looked at the boy in question before his eyes widened. 

"I never thought I'd see those eyes again. Tell me, Tommy...have you ever had a magical test inheritance test done before? Many muggles, some that don't even come to Hogwarts have some form of magical DNA in them." Merlin asked and Tommy shook his head no. 

"Why do you ask that, Merlin?" Avalon asked, curious about what Merlin meant with Tommy. 

"Why, it is plan and simple...he has the same eye color and shape a my dear friend....Arthur Pendragon." Avalon's eyes widened as she looked at her boyfriend who was also in shock. 

"We...I....we'll look into it." Avalon said as she took Tommy away from the painting, both their minds still reeling about what just happened. 

Instead of going back to the great hall, Avalon and Tommy walked over to an open window where they both sat down and Avalon laid her head on Tommy's chest. A little while later, James was dragged over by a giggling Sirius who pointed to the couple, sleeping in each others arms as Remus took a photo.

"Welcome back, rangers. Avalon, congratulations...Voldemort will no longer be a threat to you or any magic people." The voice of Zordon said as the rangers all teleported back to the Command Center. 

"Thank you, Zordon." Avalon said as she smiled up at the familiar face, glad to be back in Angel Grove. 

Alpha then teleported the rangers to the park and Avalon took off for her aunt's house to show that she was still alive. As she approached the house, the door opened and Dudley stepped out, his sullen face turning to a smile as he spotted his cousin.

"AVALON!" Dudley yelled as he ran to hug her. 

"Hello there, Dudley." Avalon said as she hugged Dudley when the door opened again and Petunia came out, a hand to her mouth as tears fell from her eyes. 

"There is....there is a lot to talk about, Aunt Petunia. It involve my mother." Avalon spat the word 'Mother' out and Petunia knew it was something serious. 

"Then come inside." Avalon nodded and walked in with Dudley, going over to the couch and sat down. 

"For one...we are not really related, but I still consider you family." Avalon started as she pulled a paper out and handed it to Petunia. 

"My mother was adopted by your parents...more like they were enchanted and compelled to adopt her because of her grandfather and god-father's desires." Avalon said and Petunia read the letter, all color draining from her face.

"Her name was Lilith Cirice Grindlewald. Her grandfather was Gellert Grindlewald, a dark lord that died some time last year. Her godfather was Albus Dumbledore. They plotted to have her raised as a muggle and marry a descendant of the Peverell family, my father. She was in on the whole plot after her seventh year when she was told the truth." Avalon said and Petunia frowned before throwing the paper down. 

"I always knew 'Precious Lily' was too good for my parents! What happened to her?" Petunia asked as Avalon smirked. 

"She got sent to an insane asylum after trying to poison me and compelling my father and siblings. She has been declared mentally unfit, her status as Lady Potter has been revoked and she is to have no contact with anyone but the nurses and doctors." Avalon said with triumph in her voice as Petunia laughed. 

"Well, that's what she gets!" Petunia and Avalon shared another hug before Avalon left the house, heading back to hers and Remus's house and laid on her bed, smiling as she looked up at the room she had grown to love in Angel Grove. 

"I did it....now if only we can do the same with Rita." Avalon sighed to herself.

"So, you finally defeated him, huh Avalon....rest while you can, my precious witch because I will find you and make you mine again." A man in a white ranger armor seethed, though he was not like the other rangers and was powerful. "And I will destroy anyone who tries to stop me, starting with that pathetic Tommy Oliver." The man continued as he walked away from the viewing globe.
