Chapter 8~Now The Secrets Are Really Out

(Or in which Avalon gains a new family)

"No, Tommy! Like this." Avalon laughed as Tommy struggled to skate along side her and kept falling on his butt in front of her. 

"Easy for you." Tommy grumbled as he stumbled again and Avalon helped steady him. 

"You'll get the hang of it....remember, I'm still not 100% there with the martial arts." Avalon reason and Tommy nodded with a smile as he managed to at least gain balance. 

"Whoo! Go Tommy!" 

Their friends cheered before stopping as Bulk and Skull appeared, Tommy and Avalon sharing the 'Are you serious' expressions with each other. 

"Big deal, we can do that and more." Bulk arrogantly said and Avalon waved at the rink. 

"Then be my guest...show us how YOU do it." Avalon mocked, knowing that they wouldn't be able to do anything but fall flat on their butts and make fools of themselves more than they already did. 

As the group laughed at Bulk and Skulls failed attempts and falling over each other, the watches went off and Avalon sighed, giving Kimberly a knowing look while she smiled sadly. 

"Sorry, emergency. See you later beautiful!" Tommy kissed Avalon's head as he and the others ran out and Avalon decided to skate for a while longer, practicing her moves as she considered entering in a local competition when the ground around the rink started to shake and Avalon quickly grabbed her things and ran out with others and she looked up to see a giant monster was stomping towards the rink. 

"Oh bloody hell!" Avalon cursed as she ran with the crowd away from the rink as the Ranger's giant robot thing take down the monster before it hit the rink. 

"Go Kimberly and other rangers!" Avalon cheered before she was teleported away and ended up in a weird and futuristic place. 

"What the....," Avalon trailed off as she looked around in awe. 

"Welcome, Avalon Potter, daughter of Magic." Avalon turned around and saw a face floating as a robot came out. 

"How...who are....you must be Zordon." Avalon guessed as she remembered what Kimberly told her. 

"Indeed and I have been watching you since you first arrived here. The putties that attacked you both times were sent by Rita as she sensed your magic but the Power Rangers stopped them both times. You of course know of Kimberly's secret as she knows of yours, but now it is time for the others to know." As Zordon spoke the rangers appeared and stared at their red head friend in shock before Kimberly ran over and stood in front of Avalon. 

"Avalon, what are you doing here?" Kimberly asked as she demorphed and Avalon jerked a finger to Zordon. 

"Apparently, Zordon has been watching me since I got here and you were right, Kimberly, the putties attacking me twice was because of Rita." Avalon said before jumping as the white ranger demorphed to reveal Tommy who ran over and checked Avalon over. 

"I'm fine, Tommy." Avalon assured him but he was still worried.

"I think the secrets need to come out fully now...you guys start cause mine is rather long." Avalon suggested as the other rangers demorphed as Zordon explained and also used the viewing globe to highlight things as well. 

"Alright....my turn now." Avalon mumbled as she stepped away from Tommy and faced the rangers and squared her shoulders back. 

"My name is Avalon Dorea Potter and I was born July 31st, 1980. I am the eldest of three children and the others are my younger siblings known as the 'Golden Twins' Harry James Potter and Daisy Lily Potter and they were born August 1st, 1981." Avalon started off as the rangers listened to their British friend explain her life. 

"And....I am a witch. Yes, like a real 'riding broomsticks', 'casting spells' and 'brewing potions' type of witch but I am good...unless you anger me." Avalon joked and the rangers laughed. 

"I went to a magical school in the Scottish Highlands called Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry...that's it on the viewing globe." Avalon pointed as the viewing globe showed Hogwarts. 

"Whoa....a real castle." Kimberly said in awe. 

"I was sorted into a house called Ravenclaw and it is for the very smart and bookish ones, Billy, you would excel in that house, just saying. Anyways, I went through my years of school with my head and focused on my work because I did not nor wanted anything to do with my family's apparent fame and my parents were not happy....they weren't happy when I refused to befriend the Weasley children save for a guy who works with literal dragons and two pranksters who are also twins. They also hated the fact that I was not in Gryffindor, the house of the brave and brash as I call it and that I refused to listen to or agree with the words of the headmaster Albus Dumbledore. He is a famous wizard who defeated a dark lord named Grindlewald back in the 40's during World War 2 and is the defacto 'Leader of Light'. Everyone believes that the sun shines out his ass or that he is mentally unstable and I agree with those who do not like him." Avalon explained, anger starting to course through her veins as well as her friends.

"In October, of 1981, another dark lord named Voldemort came to our house cause a prophecy told of one who, born as the summer months end, would defeat Voldemort and so it was either me or mu siblings but no one knew which one until after that night. He stunned my parents and tried to use a killing spell to end all three of us but we survived it with nasty scars to show. Harry has one on his head, Daisy on her chest and mine is on my wrist." Avalon held up her right wrist to show the lightning bolt scar which Tommy traced to keep her calm. 

"After that night, Dumbledore is all his "grandfatherly" wisdom declared that my siblings were the 'Twins Who Defeated Voldemort' and so praise and attention was given to them and I was left to the sidelines watching as their birthdays were remembered and gifts were given to them. The only ones who ever cared were Remus Lupin, my godfather, Andromeda Tonks, my godmother, Professor Flitwick and Professor Snape...surprisingly." Avalon took a deep breath as tears started to pool in her eyes and Kimberly touched her shoulder in encouragement. 

"Remus fought my parents and Dumbledore for full custody of me because my mental health was going down fast. That night...I ran away....I don't know how or what, but I ended up finding my aunt and uncle and broke down in front of their doorstep. They hated magic but I think seeing me broken like that, they changed and let me stay until Remus Lupin found me and took me to his home where I stayed and finished school two years early. We ended up moving here to be close to my aunt and uncle and I wanted to have a normal, non-magical life for once." Avalon finished. 

"There's more...my school life but I'll explain that later on with Remus Lupin's help as well as the help of our agent, Michael Kowalski who knows about the Power Rangers...not your real names, just your ranger forms that are shown on the news networks." Avalon said with a smile. 

Aisha and Kimberly hugged her close, then Billy hugged Avalon, followed by Rocky and Adam who had now decided to be her 'older brothers' and then finally Tommy, who held her close as the rangers and Avalon smiled before being teleported away back to their homes.
