~Chapter 24~The Fight At Hogwarts

"Avalon....Avalon...." The voice of Voldemort whispered as everyone heard it and a few of the younger years started to scream. "Avalon!" Tommy said and Avalon shook her head, grabbing onto Tommy's arm. "I'm fine..." Avalon whispered, giving a smile to Tommy as Voldemort spoke again. "I know that many of you will want to fight...some of you may even think that to fight is wise....but this is folly. Give me Avalon Potter. Do this and none shall be harmed....Give me Avalon Potter and I shall leave Hogwarts untouched....Give me Avalon Potter....and you will be rewarded....you have one hour." The voice of Voldemort left and the fires came back to Hogwarts. "What are you waiting for? Someone grab her!" Pansy yelled out and Tommy stood in front of Avalon protectively. "Try it, pug face!" Rocky sneered at the Slytherin girl who then stepped back as others came to stand protectively around Avalon, who smirked at Pansy. "STUDENTS OUT OF BED! STUDENTS OUT OF BED! STUDENTS IN THE CORRIDOR!" Filch yelled as he ran in with his cat. "They are supposed to be out of bed, you blithering idiot!" McGonagall snapped at Filch. 

After watching as the Slytherins went back to the dungeons with Filch, Avalon stepped to McGonagall. "I presume you have a reason for returning, Potter...even though you already graduated. What is it you need?" McGonagall asked Avalon who sighed. "Time, professor...as much as you can give us." Avalon begged and McGonagall nodded. "Do what you have to do, I will protect the castle." McGonagall said as she walked away and Avalon turned to her friends and family. "I think you should lead for this....after all, this is your world." Tommy told Avalon who nodded. "Alright, main thing...you see a sickly green light coming at you with words that rhyme with 'Abracadabra', dodge it, that is the killing spell. "Ron, Hermione...you two take Aisha and Adam, go down to the chamber and find a basilisk fang to destroy the cup. Kat, you Rocky and Billy stay here and help the students and Order. Tommy, come with me to the Ravenclaw Common Room...we have to start somewhere." Avalon ordered as she took the lead when her father stopped her and handed her a piece of paper while Sirius handed Ron and Hermione a similar looking piece of paper. "Take these to meet up again. We'll use Mooney's copy." James said as he watched Avalon, Harry, Daisy and Tommy all head up to the Ravenclaw Common Room and Luna followed behind. "Avalon!" 

A loud thud was heard and Avalon stopped real quick. "What was that?" Tommy asked and Avalon smiled slightly. "Piertotum Locomotor....McGonagall activated the sentries." Avalon said as the group continued running up the stairs. "She's always wanted to use that spell." Harry piped up and Avalon laughed. "Wonder if Seamus's particular proclivities for pyrotechnics will come in handy?" Daisy asked as the gang stopped when a bright light came from the windows. "Protections are in place then." Avalon guessed as they continued on the stairs. "Avalon, wait! I need to talk to you!" Luna yelled out but Avalon did not listen to her and continued walking up the stairs. "I can't Luna...I have to-" "AVALON POTTER YOU LISTEN TO ME RIGHT NOW!" Luna yelled out causing Avalon to stop as she, Tommy, Harry and Daisy all turned to stare at Luna in shock. "There's not a person alive who has seen it.....it's obvious, isn't it? We have to talk to someone who is dead." Luna said as Avalon groaned. "I was in Ravenclaw and I didn't realize that...come on, I am sure Helena will be thrilled to see us." Avalon said as they made their way to a hallway where Helena was known to be at. 

"Helena...I need to talk to you." Avalon said as she ran over. "Avalon? You shouldn't be here....you graduated already." Helena said as she floated over and Avalon shrugged. "Kinda had to come back to take on....him." Avalon said and Helena sighed. "You seek the diadem, don't you?" Helena asked and Avalon nodded again, stepping forward. "Unlike him, I want to destroy it, Helena....please!" Avalon begged as she followed the ghost when rumbling was heard and Avalon saw that the barriers were being attacked. "Please...where did he hide it?" Avalon begged again and Helena sighed, turning to face her favorite Ravenclaw student. "It is here...in the castle where everything is hidden. If you have to ask, you will never know. If you know...you need only ask." Helena said as she flew away, leaving Avalon alone. Avalon took a few moments before sighing and running back to meet up with her siblings and Tommy. 

"OPEN." Ron whispered in parsletongue as he, Hermione, Aisha and Adam all stood in front of the Chamber. "Harry talks in his sleep...parsletongue." Ron said as the door opened and the four went down into the chamber, seeing a dead snake carcass down there. "What the?" "Avalon didn't tell you what happened, did she?" Ron asked Avalon's friends who nodded. "Yeah, she showed us what happened." Adam said as Ron walked over and took a snake fang from the skeleton. "You do it..." Ron told Hermione as he handed her the fang while Adam and Aisha got their weapons out in case something happened. "I can't-" "Yes you can." Ron assured Hermione who nodded and bent down to stab the cup, causing it to be destroyed. A wave of water hit all four of them and Hermione turned and kissed Ron while Aisha and Adam laughed, though soaking wet. Both Avalon and Voldemort felt it, causing Voldemort to gasp in pain while Avalon stopped to catch her breath. "Four down....three to go, you no-nose bastard!" Avalon seethed as she started running down the halls again, Harry, Daisy and Tommy following her. A loud explosion was heard and the barriers began to fall and crumble. "Oh no..." Avalon muttered as hers and Tommy's bracelets beeped. "Good work, rangers. One horcrux is down, the others are still in the castle for you to find." The voice of Zordon said as Avalon, Harry, Daisy, and Tommy met up with Ginny and Neville.

"STUPEFY!" Avalon screamed as she waved her wand and shot at one of the death eaters. "Get to safety...NOW!" Avalon yelled out and the students nodded, helping others get to safety as quickly as they could. Avalon, Harry, Daisy, and Tommy all come to a stop in front of a wall. "But...it's just a wall?" Tommy asked and Avalon snorted. "More than that. This is the entrance to the Room Of Requirement....whatever you need or think of, it shall appear." Avalon explained as the door appeared and the group all walked in and followed Avalon, who could sense the diadem nearby. What they did not know was that Draco, Goyle and Blaise were following them to find the diadem and stop the Potters from destroying it. Avalon stopped when she heard voices and a loud ringing before walking over to a chest and opened the lid, revealing the diadem. "There it is..." Avalon trailed off as Draco, Blaise and Goyle all appeared, wands drawn. "Well, well." Draco said as Hermione, Ron, Aisha, and Adam all came around the corner. "Expelliarmus!" "Avada Kedavra!" "Stupefy!" Spells went flying as Tommy, Aisha, and Adam all dodged the spells. Ron ran after the three while Avalon, her siblings and friends all climbed up to find the diadem. "Ugh, pixies?!" Avalon screamed in disgust before grabbing the diadem and jumped back down when an explosion was heard and a weirdly, ominous glow started from around the corner.

"RUN! RUN! GOYLE'S SET THE BLOODY PLACE ON FIRE!" Ron screamed as he rounded the corner. "Oh!" Avalon and everyone else took off running to avoid the fire before bumping into brooms. Avalon handed one to Harry, who took Daisy with him while Ron and Hermione flew on the other before getting on hers and grabbed Tommy, who had both Aisha and Adam hanging on as well and the group flew away. Harry and Ron managed to save Draco and Blaise and the group flew out of the room, landing roughly. Draco and Blaise ran off, leaving the rest of the group in front of the burning room. "Avalon!" Harry yelled as he handed her the fang and she stabbed the locket before Tommy kicked the diadem into the burning room. Avalon sat back, shuddering as if she was suddenly plunged into the Black Lake when it was winter. "It's....it's the snake. That makes six, but the seventh...I do not know." Avalon shuddered out as Tommy helped Avalon up. "I know where he is....we have to go. But just Harry, Daisy and me. The rest, stay here...help as much as you can." Avalon said as she and the rest all took off running down the halls and stairs, casting spells and using their weapons on the death eaters.
