The cops left after a few questions. I highly doubted they had any troubling thoughts about the murder linked to a band that just happened to be in town, even after they checked out our props. Spencer and I decided we're going to lay low for a few days to plan our next 'project.' We wanted to make sure we are staying diligent and not leaving a drop of evidence leading to us. We had two days travel time up to Cincinnati, Ohio. Spencer had to have meetings with their merch team to change up the 'Silence' character and mask because he decided to leave a mask at the crime scene. His team was perplexed as to why right before the drop but this was crucial. No one understood how crucial.

"Jacee, are you up?" Spencer called as he opened my bunk curtain and poked his head into my personal space. "I am now." I groaned and rolled over to face him instead of the wall and shielded my eyes from the light. "Is there something you need, Charnas?"

"It's 10 and we just made our first stop to give Chuck a driving break, let's go get breakfast." I groaned and slowly rolled out of my bunk. "Give me 10." He flashed me a smile and walked away. I could hear all the guys chatting away, most likely all of us going to breakfast. I shuffled over to the bathroom to brush my hair, teeth and wash my face. A sweatshirt and sweatpants will do, I could not be bothered to get glammed up for breakfast.

I waltzed in the common area and said good morning to all five, chirpy guys who all flashed me smiles. "All right bitches, I need coffee." I mumbled, cause all to chuckle and I filed them out of the bus. Ricky and I were the last one off the bus while Joe, Patrick, Spencer and Dan were already filing into the restaurant. "Hey Jace, a minute?" Ricky asked before we entered the food establishment. Spencer and I made eye contact as he was waiting to hold the door open for us. I nodded at him to let him know it was okay.

"What's up?" We walked towards a picnic table outside the restaurant and Ricky walked next to me with his hands in his jeans pockets. "Um..so you and Spence huh?" I raised my eyebrow. "What do you mean?" "So are you guys..together?" I was dreading this conversation with him. "Um..it's..complicated." And there was truth to that, I really did not know what we were or what we're doing. Business partners..with benefits? Or something else? Truthfully, I don't know. We've tossed around the word love but I don't know how he feels about being serious.

"Honestly? I don't know." I sighed. "Oh c'mon Jace, you can tell me. You guys have been seeing each other for months." I rubbed my eyes "Ricky." I stopped him and made him look at me. "I. don't. know." His eyes got wide. "Oh..so you guys haven't even had this talk yet huh." He raised his eyebrow and chuckled. "What does it matter to you?" I asked. "You know it still hurts right? I thought we were good and you left not even giving us a chance and then you move on with my best friend. To each their own, you can love who you want to love, Jacee. I'm just trying to reiterate to you that its hard for me to sit here every single day and fall in love with my best friend, watching you guys happy, which is great and all, but I'm still in love with you." I grabbed his hand and looked him in the eyes. This feels different, I feel grounded holding his hand. "Not to mention sneaking out at night."

My breath hitched and that took me out of my thoughts. Falling in love with Spencer? the My mind was reeling, I've never thought about this myself because I can't seem to think when I'm with Spencer, I've just..done it. And sneaking out? Does he know? "How..how do you know about that?" I asked quietly. "You sneaking out? I heard you guys shuffle out all the time. Light sleeper. I'm not sure overnight dates are a good idea though. You guys need to sleep." He chuckled. I scratched the back of my head nervously. "We should probably be joining the others." He nodded and we headed our way inside to join the guys.

Spencer put his arm around me as I sat down in the booth and pulled me close into his chest. "You okay, pretty girl?" I nodded meeting his eyes and just like that I was caught up in his trance once again, but I knew there were things we needed to discuss later. I could feel Ricky's eyes on me. He now knows we sneak out..I just
don't want him to find out mine and Spencer's secrets.
