30. The Aftermath

Sebastian pov

Ominis and I were sitting on the lawn waiting for Aria to be done with her Beasts class. It was very pleasant day. The sun was shining and the air was warming. May was definitely in bloom. Ominis was quizzing me since the NEWTs were coming up in three weeks time.

"What's the four main ingredients in a shrinking solution?" Ominis asks.

Only I wasn't paying attention cause I saw Aria walking away from her class. That's odd. Class still has twenty minutes. Where the hell is she going. She's in like a daze.

"Sebastian" Ominis says. "Sebastian you still there?"

"What oh yes, sorry. I think somethings wrong with Aria she just left early from class and seems in a daze come on" I say hurrying to stand and follow her.

We followed her all over the castle into the basement and past a staircase. I kept calling out to her, but she didn't seem to hear me. Wait I've been here once? I have no idea what it leads too, but I've definitely followed her here once before, but that was in fifth year and I practically forgot about it until now. She went through the doors and it sealed. I banged on the doors but they didn't budge. I tried my hardest with my wand and magic but nothing. We need help.

"Ominis we need to go to Weasley. Who knows what's happening" I say to him.

"Sebastian I don't even know what's happening or where the hell we are" he says to me.

"I think Aria was impirio'd, she's in there and we can't get in; it has to be Sweeting! We need to go get back up" I say.

I dragged him back up to the castle to find Professor Weasley. She was in her office and I told her what I saw and where. She rushed out after sending a messenger patronus to Professor Sharp. Weasley followed us to the doors. We heard snaps and cracking magic. I just hope Aria is okay. Sharp showed up and they banged open the doors. I just saw Aria kneeling in the floor crying now. There was a body on the floor. Ignoring that, I immediately wrapped my arms around her. The professors went to the dead body. Aria killed him. I know how that feels. I know she must have had no choice. Sharp levitated him and then apperaited away.

"Aria, Aria darling are you okay" I ask her. I got no answer from her. Weasley stayed with us and helped us get her to the hospital. Aria wasn't responding she could hardly stand. So I picked her up bridal style and walked her there myself Ominis was holding her hand and walked by my side.

We got her to the hospital. Blainey wasn't surprised to see her at this point she's been here many times this year unfortunately. She was given a dreamless sleep potion. Hopefully the sleep will help her relax so she could tell us all what happened. At least that was Madame Blainey's theory anyway. Ominis and I sat on chairs next to her bed. Waiting.

It was a few hours later when she finally woke up. Ominis had fallen asleep as well in the mean time. I however did not I felt the adrenaline still running through my veins.

"Hi darling" I say to her.

"Seb?" She said groggily.

"Yes it's me." I say to her. I kick Ominis to wake him up.

"Merlin's sake Sebastian!" He said to me.

"Ominis, Aria's awake now" I say.

"Love, how are you feeling now" he asks reaching a hand out to reach for hers. 

"Like shit, honestly" she said sitting up, I just chuckled at that.

"Rest darling, do you remember anything?" I ask. She laid back down.
