66. Adjusting

Sebastian pov
April 1901

It's been a couple days since the twins were born, when Aria woke up. It was an exciting moment, she woke up groggy and confused. She was finally able to hold the twins on her own and she was crying because of such a moment. She was finally able to start breast feeding the twins. Of course the healers explained to her what had happened, you could see that she was visibly upset, that she nearly didn't make it. Almost not seeing or even meeting her children. She held them a little tighter after that.

Anna had been going back and forth with Martha and Arcturus. The babies staying in the hospital as well. They have been feeding well, however we, well I noticed that Ruth has blue eyes, and Rose has brown. They are identical though they were tested as such and it was positive. So I guess it's possible.

(AN: yes it is possible for identical twins to have different colored eyes. I made sure of this before I wrote it in. It's even possible to have different hair colors, but thought different of that for my story)

I actually have a surprise for Aria, with the Easter break ending in a couple days I have to tell her, it's something I've already set up. She's the only one who doesn't know yet.

"Darling I wanted to talk you about something. It's already set up to happen so, I need you to listen for a minute"

"What is it, is it bad?" She said.

"No no, it's not. I promise"

"Oh alright" she said.

"I'm going to take over teaching post" I tell her.

"Your what?"

"I'm going to teach and finish out the year for you" I repeated.

"Really?"

"Yes, it was all set up with Weasley and Black"

"Really you want to teach, what about being an Auror, and the ministry?"

"All set, I'm taking a leave of absence from the ministry, I can go back in the summer"

"Wow you did all that for me"

"Well I wanted to. Try my hand at teaching, who knows I may like it, I thought you of all, I thought you all I knew fifth year remember"

"Yes very much, and I believe I beat you in a duel on my very first day" she said.

"The best day of my life" I says cheekily.

"Oh and why is that?"

"I met you. Of course our wedding and the births of our children are up on the list, but if I never met you, then I wouldn't have any of this" I say truthfully. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have children or my family at all. Ominis would probably still only be my friend and I may have lost Anne forever if it wasn't for her. I owe everything to her, to my Aria.

"I whole heartedly agree, I got to witness Sebastian loose a duel, and it was a glorious day" Ominis says. I rolled my eyes at him.

Aria pov

I was touched by what Sebastian said.

"I love you" I said to him. "love you too Ominis...And I love these little babies we made" I said.

It was only a day or two later that I was allowed to go home. I was so glad. Ominis picked up Anna at my parent's house and met us home. Sebastian was holding one of the twins and I held the other, we got home and I cried. It was so overwhelmed with emotions. I saw my little Anna again her coming up to hug me. She got to meet her sisters.
