37. About Time

About two weeks ago I got a letter back from professor Weasley saying she would love to have me as part of the staff and to take over Fig's old position, however I would need at least a year of experience before I could even be considered and start. So that's what I'll do. I buy books on it and research magical theory. When I told that to the boys they were very excited. They know this is what I want to do so they are going to help me with the experience.

Poppy and I last week went to Gladrags with Natty to get dresses for Poppy's wedding. She was so excited about it. It's going to be very small. Only her gran, us three, Natty, and Magnus' family. Natty and my dress is a soft light orange. She told me she picked orange because it's a mix of yellow and red. He was a Gryffindor and she a Hufflepuff. It was an adorable sentiment. Her dress though, is stunning on her. It's an off white ivory color and very flowy.

Poppy's wedding is tomorrow and I'm going to stay the night with her, Natty's going to join us in a hour. It's a girls night. So we can get up nice and early to get ready. Poppy and I were talking about her baby and she allowed me to feel her tummy. It was very exciting. Baby was moving around a lot. Her belly was very large and she said baby would be ready any day now and that's why she's getting married now. There was a knock on her grans front door. Then Natty walked in and we squealed and we all hugged.

"Oh my!" Natty said. "I can't believe it's all happening now"

"I know it's crazy right!" Poppy said.

"And Poppy you never thought you would find someone, it was this time last year we were on the train to school and you and I were talking about if you would get a man and now one year later you're getting married and about to have a baby. Crazy how much can change in one year." I tell her

"I know and how about you Ms Hogwarts hero last year you just started dating both of them and you're about to get married as well. Have you guys set a date" Poppy says to me.

"I know it's crazy, no we haven't were thinking an autumn or winter wedding. It won't be long." I say.

"Well that's exciting" Natty said.

"It is" I say.

"Where are the boys?" Natty asks me.

"Home, but they'll be here tomorrow. I know Sebastian is probably bored out of his mind and Ominis is probably trying to entertain him." I say.

"Let's go to my room so we can talk" Poppy said.
"We'll be back down later for some food gran"

"Go, talk I'll have food ready in an hour or so" her gran said. Poppy lead us upstairs.

"I made Magnus spend the night with his parents so we have this time to ourselves just us girls." Poppy said closing the door.

"Now we can get into the fun talks." Poppy said.

"Fun talks?" I say curiously.

"Yes" she said.

"About our relationships. The fun stuff." She said winking.

"Oh isn't it all private" I say.

"That's the fun of it Ari," Poppy said.

"How about truth or dare then" she suggested.

"Yes!" Natty said.

"Fine" I say.

"Who wants to start" Natty asked.

"Me" Poppy said.

"Okay Ari, truth or dare?" She asks me.

"Truth" I say.
