Chapter 24: Kuroko no Basketball -- 4th qt: Not Exactly Decent --

"Alright everyone we are ready to watch the next Kuroko no Basketball viewing," said Mira.

"So would we be at around the practice game or maybe school practice," said Nagisa.

"Pretty sure it will be the practice game," said Izuku.

"Probably right on that," said Chifuyu.

"Well shall we get started," said Mira.

"Yeah let's watch," said Shoyo.

[4th qt: -- Not Exactly Decent --
"Whoa...so big...they clearly prioritize their sports clubs here," said Hyuga.
"Kagami-kun, that glare of yours is even worse than normal," said Kuroko.
"Shuddup...I was too pumped to sleep last night," said Kagami.
"Like a little kid before a field trip," said Kuroko.
"Hi there. Welcome, all of you," said Kise.
"Kise!" said Kagami.
"I came out to greet you so you can't get lost, Kurokochii. How could you reject me easily...? My pillows soaked with the tears I've cried since then...no one has ever rejected me before. Not even girls," said Kise.
"Do you think you could stop being so unlikeable for just a minute?" asked Kuroko.
"But if you guys were able to push Kurokochii to make a statement like that. I can't help but be a little interested. It's not that I'm necessarily protective of the whole miracle generation title...unless there's someone so clearly picking a fight," said Kise.]

"They went to your school for the practice game," asked Akashi.

"Yeah, they did," said Kise.

"That's a pretty big school," said Noya.

["Think what you will of me...but sorry in advance for how I'm about to crush you," said Kise.
"Sure!" said Kagami.
"Ah! Here we are," said Kise.
"Uh...huh? We're only using half the court? And they're training on the other side? The hoops on this side have seen better days...," said Riko.
"Ah, you're here. I'm thinking we'll only need half the court today," said coach Takeuchi. (Kaijo High Basketball Coach: Genten Takeuchi.)]

"That's like an insult right there," said Ukai.

"Why just half the court," asked Izuku.

"Our coach didn't think that Kurokochii's team would really be a challenge," said Kise.

["Right, we're just glad to be here. But, wh...what's this about...?" asked Riko.
"It's like you see. We thought the team could get some fine-tuning from today's game...but there's clearly not much those sitting out could learn by watching. Rather than waste their time, I'm having then train, as usual. If there's anyone who doesn't need fine-tuning though...it'd be my starters let's keep this from going into triple digits," said Coach Takechi.
'They're looking down on us...we're not even worth their practice time to them. what a load of...,' thought Kagami.
"Hm? Why're you wearing that uniform? You're not playing today, Kise!" said Coach Takeuchi.
"Huh?" said Kise.]

"That coach is being really arrogant about this," said Aizawa.

"So when exactly will you be in the game," said Aomine.

"Don't worry soon enough I'll be in the game," said Kise.

["We've got aces from every middle school out there on this team. But, you're in a different class altogether. I doubt these guys'll even be a challenge for our starters without you, Kise...it'd be a total joke, if I also put you in," said Coach Takeuchi.
"Hey...okay. I'll just wait on the bench then! If you play stunningly well, he'll probably put me in after all! Don't take this the wrong way...but if you can't force him to play me...you're nowhere good enough to beat the miracle generation," said Kise.
"Hey, someone take these Seirin kids to the locker room!" said Coach Takeuchi.
"You oughta warm up. Cuz you won't be waiting long," said Kuroko.
"Um...excuse me. I'm afraid this'll be a lot more than a tune-up for you," said Riko.
"Get ready to have that confidence stripped away," said both Kuroko and Riko.]

"You just had to say that to Tetsu Kise," said Aomine.

"Yeah, probably shouldn't have said anything," said Kise.

"Why shouldn't have Kise said that," asked Mikey.

"Because Tetsuya if motivated right could make any team he is on unbeatable," said Akashi.

["What'd you say?" said Coach Takeuchi.
"Now, let's begin...the practice game between Seirin High and Kaijo High. Uh...we're starting so...please get you fifth man out here, Seirin," said the referee.
"Um...we have five," said Kuroko.
"Ohhhh?!"
"Whoa...what's up with him?!"
"It's like he's barely there at all...,"
"And he's a starter...?!"
'Wow. Didn't notice hem standing right there...,' thought #4.
'He's practically invisible...but I think #10's the one to watch out for,' thought #1.
'Can he even play basketball?' thought #5.
"What a joke...you'd think they'd bring out some decent players after running their mouths like that," said Coach Takeuchi.
"I wonder...to be sure...he's not exactly decent," said Kise.]

"I gotta wonder how the game will go," said Mitsuya.

"We'll find out how it goes," said Draken.

["What's up, coach...?"
'My, my!! These guys...are tough!! I can't analyze everything through their clothes...but I'm seeing high stats across the board...we're at a disadvantage...I should have expected that from the nationally ranked team. Sure, we've got Kuroko-kun and Kagami-kun...but how far can the two of them carry us?!' thought Riko.
"Nice! Time to get out first points! Let's make it happen!" said #4.]

"#4 should have started moving. I know their should be some communication but he shouldn't just be walking," said Akashi.

"That's true. We played some basketball between us and we were always running back and forth," said Baji.

["Wha...?!" said #4.
'Where'd he pop up from?!' thought #4.
"Heyyy?!" said #4.
'Wait a second...he's crazy slow!!' thought #4.
"Huh?!" said #4.
'Eat this!!' thought Kagami.
"Oh? Ohhh?" said Kagami.
"Whoaaa!!"
"He tore down the whole hoop!!"
"Dangerous...one of those bolts was rusted...."
"Still, that's not normal at all!"
"What do we do, Kuroko? With this? Ooh. The hoop's bigger than I thought," said Kagami.
"What do we do...? Well, first we apologize...so sorry for breaking you hoop. Can we please use the whole gym now?" said Kuroko.]

"Whoa, I almost could follow that. But that was awesome," said Shoyo.

"But how did that break," asked Emma.

"Those hoops were more then likely not as maintained as the others," said Daichi.

"That was the end of the viewing for Kuroko no Basketball. We'll take a break and then go onto the next viewing which will be Food Wars!" said Mira.
