3 days later
The atmosphere in the udaipur palace was gloomy, it had been the same way since the past week. Aditya's grandfather was kept aloof of the news that his great grandchild was no more.
Today inaya was being discharged from the hospital. After three days of facing excruciating physical and mental pain, she had finally seemed to have a grip on herself. The doctors said that she was now healthy to return home but needed strict caution.
At the moment they were in the car while Aditya was driving with his mother beside him, inaya was sitting in the back seat along with their grandmother. Dadi held inaya's hand while all she did throughout the drive was to stare out of the window.
The emptyness she felt in her belly didn't let her think about anything else. Her baby, her child, the little soul that she had connected to since the past two months was no more with her. In the moments where her husband was unavailable, her unborn child stepped in as her companion and now that it was no more she didn't know what to do.
The screeching of tires broke her out of her thoughts as she looked outside. They reached home.
Aditya opened the door for her, forwarding his hand for her to hold when she stepped out and held the car door instead. Although her lower body felt like someone was pricing needles inside it she stepped ahead not looking at Aditya and slowly walked, trying not to trip.
A low hiss left her mouth as a strong pair of arms engulfed her waist preventing her from falling down. He immediately scooped her in his arms and walked inside while both the ladies stared at his retreating back with blank expressions marrying their faces.

.He gently paced inaya on the bed, covering her with a duvet.
"Is it still hurting?" He asked but got no response rather saw her facing against him while mindlessly looking the other way.
He sat on the bed beside her feet and looked at her. She moved her eyes feeling slight movement around when her eyes met with his for a second before she looked away and covered her head with the blanket trying to get her mind together.
Aditya stared at her covered form, hidden under the blanket. His heart constrained inside his chest looking at her, listening to her hissing from one moment to the other. He wished to take her pain away at any cost but he knew it was impossible.
He sat there till an hour and then got up peeking under the blanket to make sure that she was asleep. Kissing her forehead lightly he placed the painkillers on the side table she switched off the light before moving out.
He walked down the stairs to find his parents sitting in the living area. His mother looked at him for a second before standing up and leaving without looking back while his father looked at her retreating back with a sigh.
It came as a shocker to him when he learnt about inaya's miscarriage. On top of that was the rage he felt after getting to know about his son's unacceptable behaviour towards his daughter in law.
To say he was angry would be and under statement. He reprimanded him while Aditya stayed quiet. On the other hand his mother had stopped talking to him. She was not even bothering to look at him.
"How is she?"
He sat down beside his father letting out a sigh.
"Sleeping"
His father looked at him before nodding and looking away. Aditya stared at his face but said nothing. This was the first time he saw such disappointment on his father's face.
