"didi aap!!!" Sanya's loud voice caught everyone's attention as they looked up to find inaya standing at the main door with her suitcase beside her.

She ran towards her jumping right into her arms crushing her completely while showering her face with kisses.

"Didiiiii....I missed you so muchhhhhhh"

Inaya hugged her back, gently patting her head. "I missed you too sanu."

"Mai aapka samaan andar le jati hu" Sanya said and dragged her luggage inside.

(I'll take your luggage inside.)

Kalpana aunty immediately came forward and engulfed her into a tight hug.

"Inaya....beta kaise ho?"

(How are you child?)

Inaya smiled at she looked at the others standing behind her with a smile on their faces staring at her with love.

"Mai theak hu aunty. Aap sab kaise ho."

(I am fine aunty, how are you all?)

"Inaya didi!!" The children came running from inside, hugging her once and for all together. Her eyes teared up looking at the children as the thoughts of her lost child once again engulfed her mind.

Nevertheless she looked at all of them and then sat on her knees.

"Okay okay, now look what I got for you all"

She turned around as a few of the house helpers came inside with huge bags filled chocolates, toys, clothes and books inside.

"Yaayyyyy!!" They yelled with happiness running to get their gifts as she stood up to greet the elders.

"Uncle kaise hain aap" Touching their feet she greeted them.

(How are you uncle?)

They all sat in the living room as the helpers brought tea for them.

"Inaya....beta Aditya nahi aaya tumahare sath?"

(Aditya didn't come with you?)

Kalapana aunty voice out her thoughts catching her off-guard. She looked around and found them all staring at her, waiting for the answer.

She smiled awkwardly and took a deep breath. "........He wanted to come but I denied.......Aapko toh pata hai na aunty, his schedule doesn't allow him to take holidays."

"Han beta, but it's almost been a year to your marriage. Vo Aaj tak yahan nahi aaya. I really hope he comes here soon, usse sab bacho se bhi toh Milana hai na."

(It's been almost a year to your marriage, and yet he has not visited us for once even. I hope he visits soon.)

Passing a small smile to her she looked back at her tea refusing to speak further.

Vo aapko kitne pyar se rakhte hain....isiliye toh aap hume bhul gaye ho. You didn't even call me in these past days. You know, aunty was also upset with you, but then I told her. Arey nayi nayi shadi hai......first year of marriage is the honeymoon phase....."

(He loves you so much. That is the reason you forgot about us.)

She let out a laugh and then went on. "I really wish for us to have fun like the old times. I mean I don't have any problem that you are married but I........umm I just miss you. A LOT ACTUALLY. I miss the time we used to spend together. I mean we both are orphans.......we both don't have any blood related siblings but if I will be honest, you're the only one here who makes me feel home. Everyone else is good but not my age you know? Aap he toh ho didi. I love so much."
