Aditya stirred in his sleep as he heard soft noises beside him. His eyes opened in an instant as he sat up straight detangling himself from the blanket.
His eyes diverted towards the partly sleeping figure of his wife beside him who seemed to be awake. Moving towards her he tried to look at her face but found it covered with the duvet.
He heard another hiss leaving her mouth, so he took a hold of the blanket slowing unveiling her head. Inaya felt the blanket moving from above her head and looked up to find Aditya looking at her while his hand held the blanket.
"Are you okay?"
Nodding she tried to cover herself again when she felt a pull on it.
"Inaya I'm asking you if you're okay" She heavied out a sigh looking at his face. So she sat up straight while pressing a hand over her stomach, trying to lessen her abdominal pain.
"And I said I'm okay Aditya." Just as she tried to get down from the bed a cramp shot in her lower abdomen making her sit back on the bed.
She saw him getting down from the bed and in an instant he was standing in front of her forwarding his hand to help her when she stopped him.
"Stop. Don't touch me."
His hand stopped mid way as she tried to stand up again, not sparing him another glance.
"You're not fine. Do you not understand that." Inaya heard as the tone of his voice increased, but she didn't care. She had enough of it.
"And I don't need your help, do you not understand that?"
She saw as he pressed on the middle of his forehead with his fingers while running a hand though his hair.
"For god sake inaya, you're not healthy-"
"Okay so now you care?" She snapped back. He looked at her while she stood up , clear of her stance. He could see her eyes which were spitting rage and he could feel it.
"Now right now" his voice was stern as he took a step ahead only for her to shove her plam between them, creating a respectable distance.
"Don't...just don't come closer to me Aditya, do you not understand. I am not going to accept this behaviour of yours for even a second more......." She took a deep breath to calm herself as she was able to feel her eyes getting heavy. "So please....just please spare my time and yours too, I know how busy your work keeps you anyway."
The last words she said sounded bitter and sarcastic to her own self. She refused to cry for him anymore, in no way she was going to get her heart broken by him again.
Never again.
Just a step ahead but she found her wrist being caught by his big hand as he turned her around gently, pulling her closer.
She thrashed herself in his hold trying to free her body. "Leave me Aditya".
He wrapped his arm around her waist gently trying to calm her as she tried to push him away. Her palms on his chest hit him continuously trying to break free while he only tightened his hold around her waist.
"Shh....calm down baby.. please I'm sorry...I'm so sorry." His voice was just above a whisper as he held her head close to his chest patting it gently.
The tears she was trying to hold back flew freely from her eyes as she thrashed against his body pushing him away.
"No..no..no..no.... NO". Her body shook with the loud cries that left her mouth. At last she gave away, unable to break free from his hold and fell against his chest.
