Living a life of misery and pain was not the way Queen Mingyue plan to spend the rest of her days. Even in her afterlife she had yet to find her husband and daughter; she was utterly alone.

Although one familiar face did appear, his vibrant amber eyes pulled her to him like a magnet.

"Dad?"

"Don't cry, everything will be okay kiddo."

He held her face, examining all of her features. He noticed how mature her face was. From the little girl he knew; the adorably chubby face that he remember had become that of a strong woman. Her bone structure had evolved into a graceful mask to hide her true feelings. But the one thing that stayed the same were her eyes that matched his.

"You look beautiful Mingyue," Mingsheng smiled, he was exactly the same as Mingyue remembered him to be. He was frozen the same age he died.

"Who knew that I would be older than you," tears glistened her eyes. She never really thought about how they would forever be stuck in time.

"You're thinking about Heeseung, aren't you?" He asked her. She gave a sad smile, "I've seen him, you know, and your daughter. She's a lovely little thing."

"You've seen Baiye? Is she still–"

"She's still your little girl. She will forever be your little girl. Meeting my granddaughter was magical, I'm sorry that it had to be so soon. I would've been patient and waited, just like I've done for you, and like I will Eunwoo."

"Thank you dad,"

"Of course kiddo, that's what I'm here for."

"Have you seen them?"

"Not recently, I believe that Baiye was forced to cross over. Heeseung didn't want to let his daughter go alone so he went with her."

"What do you mean by cross over?"

"There's another side. Think of this like a line for the bakery, remember how long those used to be. The other side is like leaving with bread or pastries. It's happier, it's a more joyous place."

"Is there I chance I can find them?"

"I'm not sure kiddo, this is as far as I've made it. You can go and find them, I'll stay here."

"Dad I'm not leaving you here alone for decades to come."

"Mingyue, try finding your husband and daughter. I'll send Eunwoo your way when he comes."

Time almost feels like irrelevant after death. Mingyue watched as her son grew older, how he bravely ruled the country, how he found the love of his life. His broken childhood was left behind as he looked towards a brighter future.

"Dad, is this how you felt watching me?"

"A sadness? Watching you grow up without me there... I saw how your mother changed. I'm sorry that I left you there with her. But I saw how Heeseung cared for you over the years." Mingsheng said. "You know that I'm nosy... I may or may not have watched over Heeseung. Did you know that after he went back to his Kingdom following the first time he met you, Jangmi and him were supposed to get married? He stalled for years, waiting for you."

"I didn't know that you were such a gossip dad."

He laughed, his beautiful smile that matched his daughters. "Who do you think informed your mother about all the gossip throughout the village?"

"Your father is really taking too much credit. I told him all the tea." Mrs. Kang, said. "It's nice seeing you again Mingyue."

"Mrs. Kang!" Mingyue ran over to Mrs. Kang. She was no longer an older woman, but a girl of her youth, twenty perhaps.

"Are you alright?" Heeseung made his way over to his wife. He hugged her from behind, looking over her shoulder to see what the letter read.

"I feel like something's wrong Heeseung."

"It's all going to be okay, should I open the letter to relieve some anxiety?"

She nodded, handing the letter over to her husband, "But I don't understand why it was in our room. I-"

'You better run. Lee Heeseung, you deserve to have you're life ruined.' – you know who I am.

"Mingyue, get Eunwoo. I'll get Baiye."

He ran in a separate direction than his wife right to his daughters room.

"Sweetie, you have to wake up." He picked her up, trying to hide them. "No. No." He cried, his little angel rested in his arms.

Blood from multiple stab injuries stained Baiye's nightgown and his arms. His sleeves were drenched in his daughters blood. He was too late to save her.

"I told you I would ruin your life."

The first gunshot went off, fatally killing Heeseung. The last thing he saw was the face of his innocent daughter who didn't deserve this fate. He only hoped that Mingyue and Eunwoo weren't hurt.

"Daddy? Where are we?" Baiye cried.

"I'm not sure hon, but at least we are here together."

Baiye was freed from pain, no stab marks, no blood tainted gown. It was his pure little angel.

"Heeseung!"

He held his daughter as his eyes drifted towards the man who called his name. He was met with a kind man, the most prominent feature being his welcoming smile and bright amber eyes.

"It's nice to officially meet you, I'm Mingsheng."

"Nice you meet you sir, you must be Mingyue's father that she talked highly of?"

The man nodded, his bright aura radiating off of him. Heeseung turned to Baiye, "Baiye, this is your other grandfather."

"Hi! Where are we, grandpa?"

"We are in paradise kiddo, you can do anything and everything you might imagine."

"Woah really? Can we eat candies here?"

"Of course we can? Do you want to go now? We can get to know each other." Mingsheng looked over at Heeseung who gave him a smile. It would be nice to get to know his wife's father.

"Thank you for cleaning up my stone, I saw."

"Yeah of course."

"And thank you for bringing the old her back, bringing out the childhood in her. I saw her drawing, she still has her magic touch."
