I had made a deal with Gemini and Deecon, I would help them rebuild Lower into a thriving planet and in exchange, they teach me what it is like to be human.

To show me why they are worth saving. Vyx shouldn't expect any result from me for a couple years give or take and I want to learn more about Gemini. Someone I am supposed to be bound to could give me more answers to questions I never got on Veedu.

Over the next couple of months I have stayed here on Lower with Gemini.

Deecon comes down every couple days to be trained by me and is to help with questions from people on Sky on the progress. Someone named Edna sends down reports that Deecon takes with him to keep Gemini updated on her other planet. Her former bodyguard Albi has taken residence on Lower, helping track down any potential threats to the safety of Gemini's people. We had even found the Lower Devilmen's compound and helped release the people captive. It was the first time I had been thanked for simply healing a scratch on an elbow. Some were more traumatized which caused Gemini to remove certain memories from their minds, I didn't know a Zodiac could do that until I saw her do it to Deecon in a foggy daydream. I can search and preview people's minds but altering them? That was never a power I could possess. It was odd physically being stronger with my powers than her but Gemini can make her darkness engulf these human's minds. She didn't need to bring a mountain down on their heads, she could make them beg for death by her whispers. She was deathly powerful but beats herself up if she can't lift more than me. Her strength is getting greater with practice but she wanted unlimited release.

I have studied her throughout the months, her control is impressive.

Telling every human on Lower about her true identity sent a frenzy, she soothed their emotions with her loving yellow glow. The things they shouted at her made my fists ball up, ready to physically make her a path to a safe place but no... she knew how to take care of them, to ease them and to make them feel safe even around a God.

Deecon really did know everything about her, he sat back while she gave her speech. Knowing she had everything under control, that there was no need to worry.

Deecon felt the anger oozing from my pores and chuckled under his breath,

'Gem is used to their hurtful words, she will be fine.'

And dammit he was right.

We started remaking the town even with some humans screaming insults at her, telling her she is controlling their way of life. A human even tried to throw trash at her as she walked down the street, she dodged the rusty can from hitting her face and just looked back at him, smiling.

'Soon you will see why I am your savior, I understand why you are frightened.'

It.. doesn't.. Bother her? ... At all?

I would be throwing these humans in the new jail cells we have made. No food or water until they bent the knee and swore their loyalty.

I found myself day after day lifting an eyebrow at her choices. She was walking around the open streets, letting these humans race up to her with questions, requests, slander and greed. Gemini would sit on a rusted, red dirt filled chair in her white combat suit, look them in the eyes and spend as much time as needed to listen to each one's concerns.

Deecon on the other hand was becoming my translator on this planet. Telling me why Gemini would say certain things, the slang that humans would say, even the translation of certain human emotions that I fully didn't understand. Like sadness, it was the weirdest one to me.

"Why don't humans just move on when something.. Sad.. happens?" I questioned.

"Humans need to mourn... to grieve. They can't just flip a switch like God's. They feel.. Everything. That's one of the main reasons Gem loves them, they are passionate." Deecon tells me as he crosses his arms, staring down the street to Gemini.
