GEMINI:

White.

All I saw was blinding white light scorching my eyes as I fell out of whatever trance those Starzithians put me in. The walls white, the small bed white, the floors a mind splitting headache of white.

I lift-...

I go to finish my action but cough off a lung, needing oxygen in my lungs. What on Darus was happening? I take in sharp breaths manually as my heart begins to slow from the deep breaths I try to take. Why did I?-...

Again I pause, my hair crunching underneath my feet as I sway my legs over the bedside. It looked dead, my hair dry from lack of moisture or gleam my body naturally gave it. I hold up my hands, dry blood on my knuckles and the flakes of dead skin peeling off my fingertips.

I feel a sunken feeling in my chest, pain writhing through me that I have never felt before. I tug at the zipper on my white shirt to reveal my chest, a large bandage covering the center of my sternum. My fingers pick at the sides of it and I wince at the pain of removing the sticky side of it off my skin.

Red flare of discomfort formed around what they did to me.. A pendant.

They surgically cut me open and placed it on my chest, my mortal state returning.

My eyes widen at the sight and I scratch at my chest, trying to rip it from my flesh as I scream at the pain. A guard outside begins to pound on the force field door keeping me inside, "Quiet in there!" He grunts at me but I still keep panicking, those crippling anxiety emotions wrapped around me like a snake. "What is this?" I shout to him and he ignores me. I limp to the door, pounding on it to get his attention. "Let me out!"

To my surprise he enters in a code by the frame and the door vanishes from my eyes. I'm startled as he doesn't even look back to me, he turns back to facing the wall.

This had to be a trick, It's never been this easy to escape a cage like this. I step one foot out and peer over to him, "Just like that?"

Again he remains silent, pointing down the long white hallway for me to follow. I look down to my bruised feet, my healing power not at full capacity to ease my pain from walking. I limp slowly down the hall, checking for any exits. The hall turns to the right and I am greeted by another Starzithian, a strong built woman with traditional braids flows down her back. She stands in front of a podium and says sternly, "State your name, age and planet you are from."

I raised my brow at her, how did she not know who I was?

"Gemma Knox.. six thousand one hundred and twenty six.. Well I was dead for ten years so.. Thirty six but I don't count those years-"

She holds up a finger to me, "Planet you came from."

"...Veedu?"

It didn't even surprise her, she wrote it down on something laying on the podium and instructed me to turn around. Being in this mortal state, I didn't stand a chance to fight unless I knew what I was up against. I gasp at the hot touch she lasers into the back of my neck. I whip my hand to it and put pressure on the wound she just inflicted.

"What the hell was that!?" I spat at her and again she didn't even flinch.

Two guards appear on either side of me and shackle my wrists and ankles while I protest. "Do you know who you are disrespecting right now!?" I snarl at them as they push me past the podium, leading me down the rest of the hallway. We enter into an elevator and go down at least forty floors, I felt like I could throw up vile all over the floor as we are shot down to the bottom level. The doors open and I drop to my knees, tears brim my eyes as I see thousands of different species shackled and whipped as they carry items and digging holes for the piles of bodies beside them.
