I left Aries as he still lay in the puddle of mudd, it coated the top of his white curls. I thought he would have left the second he was made a fool but he relaxed every muscle and stayed flat on the ground, just staring up into the sky.

As soon as I walk through my front door, all of them berate me with panicked questions. I turned to Edna and looked her sternly in the eyes, "You must come with us to Lower, Aries should be leaving soon but I don't want you alone in this house until he does. Pack a bag, you must go to the Bunker."

Deecon chuckles behind me, "Oh, Edna, you are gonna love the bunker.. Five star reviews from Albi and I... Fit for a queen."

She sticks her tongue out at him and goes to pack a bag.

When Albi brings the ship around, I still see Aries in the puddle. Deecon hops into the spacecraft and looks out the window to him.
"Should we be concerned about a God getting his ass kicked and looking depressed?"

I looked back down at Aries, I could almost see the force between us. He didn't feel depressed, he felt lost. The more my eyes studied him the longer they disassociated, like they've seen the sight of this man so many times that they remember every detail of him. My body acts like I have known him since the beginning of time but my mind, it's a blank to every life I've lived with him.

I look back to Deecon and shake my head, "I think he just needs to shake it off, he should be gone soon."

When the craft lands near the bunker I help Edna get cozy and help her with the locks, "We will be back soon!" I shout from the top of the door.

Edna pushes her face towards the opening, "Destroy those bastards." She says closing the door and locking it. I know she was terrified being in a new environment all alone but she knew I had too much on my plate already. She was just that kind of friend, always being there even if it meant pushing her fears to the side.

Albi takes us towards Akira's community and I see smoke.

Smoke... fire.

"Take me over the town!" I shout at him.

I grab the back of Deecon's shirt and hoist him to the door of the craft. We hover over the top of the community as smoke floats up to our noses.

"You are going to jump with me!"

Deecon looks over the edge at the long fall, "I can't fucking fly like you Gem!"

"You've seen those superhero movies, yeah?" I say in a hurry as I push us out the door, grabbing his hand to slow down the fall. Once he is a good distance I release his grip and the ground shatters around his feet from the force. I fall right behind and land to the right of him, our eyes glowing through the black smoke.

I hear screams and gun fire but the smoke is too thick to see and Deecon's lungs will fill up soon. I bring my palms to the smoke ahead and swing my arms up to the sky. The smoke tornadoes from the ground up and left our sight. I gasp as I see the shacks on fire, bodies on the ground and Darus Devils sprinting through the streets. Their guns firing with no target, just shooting to hit anything around.

"Deecon, I need you to block the entrance! No one in or out!"

He nods, pulling out his knives from their holsters and sprinting to the hole in the wall. Chunks of rock lay by the wall as if hit over and over to unstable it, looking like many attempts to break in. I glide over to the group of men with guns as they fire down the street, hitting every building's windows.

I pull out my knife and charge towards their turned backs. One by one I slit their throat as blood pours onto the street. One man turned to me with his riffle pointed at my skull, "You're the fucking alien aren't you?" He mocks.
