"Hun, can you go bring this box upstairs to the attic?" My dad asked.

"Sure." I grabbed the box and climbed the stairs, almost tripping over my feet. When I got to the attic I put the box down and looked at the label, Bubble's Baby Pictures. It's my dad's nickname for me and I really dont know how it came to be. I opened the box and inside was a giant scrapbook labeled Our Little Angel I sat down on the floor and looked through the pictures. There were a bunch of just me and there were some with my aunts and uncles and of course Dad, but one picture stood out, it was of me and my mom before she died. She was holding me and kissing me while I smiled. I felt my vision go blurry with tears and I smiled, while wiping them away.

"Bubbles! Where are you?" My dad called. I wiped the remaining tears and put the book down. I quickly walked downstairs and stopped when I saw a very pretty woman in front of me.

"You must be Lilian, I'm Natalie, your father has told me so much about you." She said holding out her hand for me to shake. I grabbed it slowly and shook her hand, giving her a shy smile.

"Hi." I said. My dad came around the corner and smiled.

Now would be a great moment to fill you in on some things. Well, to start my name's Lilian, but I prefer to be called Lily. My mom died when I was born so I live with my father, who's a doctor. He rarely talks about mom but when he does it really hurts him, especially since I look like her. I have light brown hair and eyes that change from blue to green, depending on how I feel. I wouldn't call myself popular, actually, I was far from it, I'd get bullied because of the way I dressed and my weight, which both aren't really an issue but its hard to ignore when you dont have friends. My dad didnt really know how to deal with the situation since he's a single parent, so he just decided that a fresh start would do us good. I had moved from my comfortable apartment in Ontario, Canada all the way to a huge house in San Antonio, Texas.

"Well, I see you two have already met. Natalie and I have been dating awhile but I didn't tell you because I didn't want to upset you Bubbles." He said. I looked at Natalie from head to toe. She wasn't bad looking, blonde hair, blue eyes, fit, it's just she had a freaky vibe coming from her and I didnt like it.

"Dad, I'm gonna go ride my skateboard in the front, is that okay?" I asked. He looked at me then Natalie and smiled.

"Yeah, sure, go ahead." I ran up to my room, grabbing my autographed skateboard and my IPod and went outside. The weather was about 80 degrees, so my jean shorts, red t-shirt and Converses weren't a bad choice. I put my headphones in and my red and black snapback and started riding my skateboard, while listening to Justin Bieber. I was practicing an olly when a basket ball hit my skateboard and I fell on my face.

"Oh my god, I am so sorry! Are you okay?" Someone asked. I picked myself up and dusted off the dirt that was on me.

"Yeah, it's okay." I replied grabbing my board. I looked at the person and saw it was a boy. He smiled, revealing a perfect smile.

"I'm Austin, and you are?" He asked holding out his hand, what's with the formal greeting that these Southerners do? I shook his hand and smiled.

"Lilian, but everyone calls me Lily."

"You're new here, aren't ya?" I nodded and pointed to my house.

"That's my new home, how'd you know I wasn't from here?"

"You have an accent and I would've remembered someone as pretty as you living across the street from me." He cheekily replied. I turned away and felt my face blush. He picked up my IPod and looked at the screen.

"Bieber fan, eh?" He asked mimicking a Canadian.

"Yeah, he's my cousin." I said. Austin's eyes widened.

"You know the Justin Bieber?" I nodded, he's the first person to believe it, not because it's not true because it is, it's just everyone thinks Im lying.

"On my moms side, but I have my dad's last name so you can't really tell." I said quietly.

"I never thought I'd live next to a celebrity." He muttered.

"Well, I'm not famous like he is." I pointed out.

"It doesn't matter, your still a celebrity in my eyes." He said. I felt my cheeks redden and looked away. This boy was a real ladies man, he knows just what to say.

"You wanna play some basketball?" He asked picking up the ball.

"I'm not very good at it." I admitted. He smiled again and shook his head.

"I can help you, if you like?"

"Sure." Austin and I played a game of basketball that ended in me winning and I know he did that purposely. The game was fun but spending time with a person who didn't judge me and liked me as a person was the best.

"Hey Lily, you wanna hang out sometime?" He asked making a lay up then turning towards me. During the game he had gotten sweaty and took off his shirt and it was so hard to keep my focus on the game and not on his body.

"Depends, are you asking me on a date?" I asked, smirking. It was his turn to blush and look away.

"Maybe.." I bit my lip and thought about it. I didn't know him that well and he was my neighbor, so I didn't want to make things awkward between us, also my dad has a part in this, he might be too protective and not let me date even if I am 16 and so is Austin, oh Jesus help me.

"So do you wanna go out with me?" He asked quite nervously. I sighed and shook my head.

"I think it'd be better if we stayed friends."
