Austin's POV
I laid in my bed as tears threatened slipped from my eyes.
I didn't care if Lily and I were broken up. But I didn't think she'd go and try to find someone else to care for her like I did.
That's what I was for.
Lily was mine, she was my responsibility, not Rob's.
My whole body heated up. I was so angry at Rob and Lily. She went behind my back and did what she did with him. She probably kissed him, knowing Robert, he would never pass up the opportunity of kissing Lily. They probably did something more, knowing what Lily did before we broke up.
I was not happy whatsoever at the moment.

Lily's POV
"Daddy, I'm so sorry about what I did." I said for the millionth time.
He smiled. "It's alright but don't ever do something like that again. Especially since you went to a boy's house. I would've been fine if you went to Faith's but you went to Robert's house, I'm a bit disappointed in you."
I slumped in my seat at the kitchen table. "Sorry, it was an impulse action." I mumbled.
Justin pat my back, I knew he felt bad for me. He was always feeling really bad for me when I had something bad happen like for example, being bullied or in this situation, getting scolded by my dad.
"I'm glad you knew that he was a good choice to go to his house." Dad bit into a piece of toast, looking straight into my eyes. "What did you do with him?"
I blushed before looking down. "Nothing, he's just a friend."
"Is that really the truth?" Justin asked me.
"Yes, we didn't kiss or anything. All we did was lay together and then when I fell asleep he got up and moved to the couch."
"Okay, just make sure you tell me if you need to go away for some company." My dad said, crunching through a strip of bacon.
I picked up my fork and stabbed at my scrambled eggs. I wasn't really hungry.
"If you're not going to eat, go upstairs and take a nap or something." I stood up from my chair and began walking to the stairs. "Oh, we all have a party to go to. It's for Natalie."
"Alright." I sighed. I went upstairs and into my room. It was dark and I kind of liked it. I jumped into bed and closed my eyes.
A party.
Those were what defined the teenage years.
I was going to an adult party. How were those anyway?
Wine and dressed people? Fancy cheese on toothpicks?
God, it sounds incredibly boring.
I opened my eyes briefly to think about what I was going to wear. I had no idea what but I'd find it when the situation was presented to me. I closed my eyes and fell asleep for what seemed like the hundredth time today.
"Lily, wake up. We gotta get you dressed." Justin woke me up.
I groaned before throwing the sheets off of me and sitting up. "Do I really have to go? I can stay here and sleep. I've never been to an adult party."
"You have to go, you've been sleeping too much for any person and an adult party is just like every other party."
"I've never been to a party, remember? I wasn't as popular as you." I mumbled.
