PIERRE’S POV:

 

After we finished our meal we decided I mean ako lang pala na magtanong kung paano ba kami makakaalis sa mala-isolated na village na ‘to.

Binayaran ko na din ang bill naming dun sa waitress na siya ring nagtake ng order namin kanina.

“Here’s your bill sir.” She is still full of energy while giving me the bill. Then I pulled out my wallet from my back pocket and get my card then handed it to her and after that she turned away and walked pass us twking my card with her.

After a moment she’s back again and gave me back my card.

“Thanks for coming here sirs. Hope you come back soon.”Still nigmatic . Di ba nauubusan ng enerhiya sa katawan ang babaeng‘to? She was about to leave again when I spoke.

“Hey!Wait!” I called out

“Yes Sir?” she turned back to face me.

“Can I ask you something?” pagtatanong ko

“Sure thing sir!What is it?” she asked politely

“Do you know how can we get a cab?” I asked straight to the point.

“Oh that’s it?Of course I knew that.” She said proudly

“So can you help us?” I asked again

“Oh sure. The cabs here are a phone call away and it has no terminal.” She said. Kaya naman pala hirap na hirap kami maghanap ng masasakyang taxi dito.

“Oh that’s why.” Sabi ko

“Should I call a cab for you?” she said

“Oh yes thank you.” I said to her

“Your most welcome sir.” She said at umalis ulit.

After a beat dumating na din yung taxi namin nagthank kami ulit sakanya at binigyan ko siya ng great tip at tsaka kami nagpaalam at sumakay na sa taxi.

Nagpahatid kami sa pinaka malapit na hotel dito at sinabi ng driver ng taxi na sinasakyan namin na tatlo lang dawa nag pinakamalapit na hotels dito.

Nagpahatid kami sa unang hotel na sinabi niya at pumasok na sa loob ng hotel lobby at pumunta ko sa receptionist.

“Sorry sir but our rooms are fully booked today. If yo want you can just reserve a room and we will call you back.” Sabi nung receptionist sakin. Ano bay an fully booked?!
