What's your dream? What a great question, ain't it? I have been spending a lot of time recently thinking about it. The more and more I think about it the more confusing it gets. What is that one thing you're willing to do anything for?
I finally finish my cigarette and head home. Walking home I listen to some music while thinking about everything and nothing at the same time.Striding down the street till I reach my front yard.
Here we are the one place I call home. I unlock the door only to find the whole place empty. Of course, what else did I expect? I take off my shoes and head inside, leaving my coat on the hanger by the front door. My eyes catch a glimps of a paper on the dining table.
Don't wait up. Have an important meeting!
-DavidI go to the fridge and open it. I put together a sandwich with the few things in my fridge. I grab the plate with food and a glass of water and head up the stairs to my room.
Finally in the comfort of my room I can take a breath and relax. My room was pretty small, but I chose it. I like that it's small, it feels cozier. I have always considered my room a safe space, the one place I can be left alone and not be bothered. These past few years have been an emotional rollercoaster.
From my mom passing away because of cancer to my brother becoming my legal guardian. David is the only family I have left sadly we don't see each other often even tho we live under the same roof.
He owns a big company that's why we can afford a lot more than normal wages can provide. He is 8 years older than me and I guess really successful for his age having made his first million at the age of 22 and now owning a multimillion dollar company. Me however a 18 year old boy that can barely keep his grades up and a non-stop overthinker.
I go to my desk and start up my computer. The second it loads up I open a video I have saved on my desktop. It's me, David and our Mom from around 10 years ago.
We are in the backyard playing with water guns and laughing and screaming and not caring about anything. Only if I had known that in just 4 year's our lives would change with a simple doctor visit. I like to watch it and remember all the good things in life.
I finish my sandwich and start up my discord just to see a couple of messages in the main server. Seeing it's just some banter between Sapnap and Dream I decide to ignore it and enter a vc.
I booted up my Minecraft and only a couple minutes later someone joined the call.
"GOGGY!"
"I told you I hate that nickname! Call me that again and I will kill your dog Sapmap."
"Hey it's SapNap not Sapmap."
"Ok, if you say so, Snapchat!"
We played for an hour and then Dream joined as well. Playing with my friends was the best part of my day. I didn't have to worry about my grades, about where I'll go to university and what will happen tomorrow, it was just us and the game.
