I don't know how we got here, but I'm currently sitting on a stool in front of River and Andy's bed while she combed through my hair and watched disney movies that Andy complained about the entire time.

"Andy, you're 40 years old and yet you still act like the 18 year old that talks shit throughout the entire movie," River stated, I giggled as Andy clicked his tongue.

"She just ate the-," He pointed at the screen. We were currently watching Snow White, and he hated the whole thing. Apparently this is like his 3rd time watching this movie.

"I don't wanna watch this shit anymore," He mumbled, before getting up and leaving the room. River and I giggled as the door shut.

"Crazy how neither of us forced him to stay and watch anyway," She chuckled, I laughed.

"True." I smiled.

I explained what happened to River before taking some of Kayson's clothes and hopping in the shower. He didn't come home but she let me know that she called him and he's okay.

He'll be back later tonight.

River offered to do my hair and I thought it'd be the perfect time to get to know Kayson's parents a little more.

Andy and River have the cutest relationship ever. They bully each other like they're best friends but they're also soft and loving to each other like a couple.

It's so cute.

I remember the last time I spent a night with Kayson we went to get a snack a three am and caught quietly giggling and slow dancing. Kayson and I decided to scare the absolute shit out of them and Andy threw a chair at him and River screamed and woke up the entire house up.

That's a funny memory, Kayson and I sometimes giggle about it randomly.

"What are you giggling about?" River questioned, I giggled again.

"The chair," I giggled a little louder at her deep sigh.

"We're never gonna live that down are we?"

"Nope."

We silently watched the rest of the movie, making little comments and jokes here and there.

River is the kind of Mom I've wanted all these years. Yes, my Mom was in my life, but she wasn't in my life, if that makes sense. I can't remember the last time she's combed my hair before bed.
