Demons

Hell.

Nothing like what you'd expect. I'm not surrounded by constant fires or screams, just emptiness. Those who enter hell's domain loose themselves in the emptiness of this cold gray place.

Humans have their stereotypes so wrong.

Humans. How long has it been since I have even seen a whole one? Any human in hell has already lost their soul. No longer whole.
Poor bastards. If it didn't help me, I'd truly feel sorry for them.

I'm a demon. Not quite alive but not quite dead. Higher level & less mainstream from zombies, so don't try to call me one. I still have all my brains from when I was alive.

Alive. Something else I haven't experienced in hell knows how long. I don't remember life. Only hell. I have no idea how long it's been, only that all I know is this place and a demon's job.

A demon's job is simple. Increase hell's size. Collect souls, mislead or just plain stupid (although I don't see a difference). The more souls you bring, the higher level demon you become. Sort of similar to a human job system from things I've heard on my limited surface time. Surface time being any time spent the human or other worlds outside of hell.

I am not the lowest level of demon. But I am not the highest either. I am barely on the level to leave hell freely as I feel. But just like every demon, I Want more. I want a place amongst the living with the highest level demons. I want the respect, I want the power. I want to feel as if I am on top of the world.

And the only way to gain that, is to start collecting stupid souls...I want to play their game...so now, the game is afoot

EDIT(june 1st 2016)~ THIS WAS MY FIRST FIC ON HERE IN JUNE/JULY OF 2015 there are so many mistakes & such bad format because I didn't know how this website worked help it's just a mess ugh

I really want to unpublish this for all the mistakes, but there's nostalgia attached, ya know? Idk...
