(Gerard's POV)
I was actually really enjoying this show we had been watching. Surprising how the main character can get a completely new face but still pull off the same person as well as an aspect of something new.
"I am enjoying this. What have you done to me drummer boy?" Joe looked over at Andy, who smiled innocently.
I laughed and looked back up at the TV on Pete's wall. We had been watching the show all day, with occasional snack breaks of course. I had showered and like Pete had said there would be, changed into some clothes I had over here. Just showed how good of a friend Pete was.
"Yo G!" Pete looked at his phone and looked over at me. "You, ah, expecting anyone around tonight?"
Frank. Would he be at my house? Or would I be meeting him at my house?
"Oh...yea...I should get going." I nodded and stood.
"You sure Gerard?" Patrick frowned. His hair was sticking up in random places like he and Pete had been alone together for awhile."I'll come back later." I promised.
"I'll drop you off." Pete said, sliding off the bed. "You come on 'Trick." He pulled the reluctant Patrick off the bed and into his arms. "Brendon, hold down the fort and by that I mean you're on popcorn duty."
"Sure..." He said absently, watching the show go on.
Pete grabbed Patrick under his arms and dragged him out of the room and down the hall while I followed, holding back a laugh.
"Am I going with you guys or being kidnapped for ransom?" Patrick asked with a questioning giggle.
"That'd mean I'd have to eventually give you up." Pete teased. He let Patrick go when we reached the door and grabbed his keys.
"I can walk Pete, it's fine." I said, looking out at the coming night.
"You could, but I won't let you." Pete winked.
He kept walking to the car with Patrick behind him and I followed after him shaking my head.
I climbed in the backseat and spread out. Pete waited for Patrick to settle in and drove off. Patrick and I talked a bit about Doctor Who, that show we'd been watching, before Pete pulled up to my house.
"Group chat us tomorrow so we know when you're up." Patrick smiled as I opened my door.
"You'll be first to hear." I grinned. I turned to Pete and waved. "Thanks Pete. Owe you one."
"Whatever." Pete waved it off and grinned. "Later man."
"Bye!" Patrick waved.
"See you guys!" I waved, laughing as they drove away. I looked at my bedroom window and saw a shadow move along the window.
Frank was here. I smiled and hurried over. I slipped inside and shut the window quietly. I turned around and saw Frank sitting on my bed.
"Hey..." He smiled softly.
"Hiya." I smiled back. I sat down next to him and scooted close. "Hope I didn't keep you waiting long..."
"Mmm..." He nuzzled his head in my chest and sat quietly.
"Is anything wrong?" I asked, confused. I hesitated before I put my hand on his head and rubbed his soft, black hair. He was quiet for awhile before he pulled his head away from my chest.
"I don't know..." He said in a broken tone. His face read confusion and sadness. He wouldn't even look straight at me, he was looking distantly at the ground.
I kicked off my shoes and scooted back onto my bed. I grabbed Frank around his small waist and pulled him further onto the bed. He looked at me with that sad and confused look in his eye.
"Talk to me." I said quietly.
"I don't know what to say..." He said. He was looking past me, or rather through me. I couldn't stand his sadness, I could feel it. Just a confused sadness.
"Just say anything..." I cupped his cheek in my hand and he closed his eyes.
(Frank's POV)
His touch was soothing. I didn't understand anything going on with myself. I just wanted to live in his touch for a moment. I felt him begin to pull away, but I moved my hand up and held his hand there.
"I don't know anymore." I finally said. "Everything I've been feeling is against everything I know and I just can't comprehend it..."
I heard silence before I felt myself pulled into a warm embrace. I opened my eyes. G was holding me closely, his arm wrapped around my small frame. I bit my lip and closed my eyes, holding him back.
We stayed like that for awhile, just holding each other in soothing silence. I was the one to lighten my hold first. He pulled away and looked me in the eyes.
"I don't know how to help..." G said quietly, "But I'll try...and I'll be here for you." His hand found it's way to mine and he held it.
I felt confusion cover my face. More feelings. More...emotions? I looked down at our hands and couldn't explain what was running through my mind.
"You're so strange Gerard..." I whispered, "I..." I had to laugh softly. He made me feel.
G smiled. He laid down and pulled me down next to him.
"Just say whatever comes to mind." He smiled again. So I did. G and I just talked. I couldn't understand how he made me feel the way he did... We talked until G's eyes started to take longer blinks and stay open for shorter periods of time.
"I know you're tired..." I smiled at his struggle to stay awake.
"Nooo..."
I laughed out loud. He was so cute and he looked so cuddly... I leaned up and kissed his forehead. "Will you just keep your eyes closed you bright little soul?.."
G kept his eyes closed and I could hear his breathing become steady and even. I smiled, looking at his face become more relaxed and slip into sleep. I moved some of his hair out of his face and simply laid next to him, not believing what an amazing catch I had...
