Blood slicked down my abdomen, right where Adam had just clawed me. I tore at my tattered shirt, hoisting it up over my head.
"Again" I snarled
Adam wasted no time as he lunged for me again, arms outstretched he meant to take me to the ground. I kicked his leg out from under him and twisted his body around and down. I landed on top my arms going for a choke hold, his head was between my bicept, he bit me and hand, blood seeped from my arm before I let go. The high from the venom washed in and over my senses, gone in a second, but that was all he needed was a second, to punch me straight innthe abdomen. I let out a big whoosh of air, as he made contact. Holding my now sore stomach I looked down at the hole he'd punched, it quickly reforming to my normal abbs.
"I think you broke my spine with that one" I said
"Don't be a wuss it's only your spine" Adam said with a grin, putting his fists back in the air.
I took my stance ready for his next brawl. Truman and migel were fighting parallel to us, Truman getting the upper hand most of the time, he was in the lead. I could hear there grunts and moans from there tumble, Truman throwing migel into a tree the mighty branch cracked and tumbled to the ground.
"Focus on me" Adam said
I was gone in a flash, claws outstretched I ran towards Adam with everything I had, pushing my new found strength and speed to the limit. He caught my hand and twisted it behind my back but not before my other claws sunk into his neck. He grunted from the strength it took to hold me back. I kicked his knee cap in, and he went down, letting go of my hand. I punched him straight in the face, knocking him back further.
"Wow Michel that was brutal" Elise called
"This victory is mine I think" I called back.
Adam slowly hoisted his self up, giving him a hand, the male held his throat while the skin slowly knitted itself back together.
"I think I need some blood after this" He admitted
"Did you spill dinner all over yourself?" Elise teased.
"Ha ha" He said
Adam walked over to Elise then, the pair making there way to the truck I quickly followed.
"You guys going to keep training?" I called to Truman and migel.
"We still have some fight left in us" migel said and truman nodded while they took up fighting stances once more.
I stood and watched them a little longer. Migel swipped at Truman with his claws, Truman jumping back the pair running after one another, constantly moving as one tried to get the upper hand. Mid run Truman reached out a grabbed migel flinging him to the side. He was on him in a second pinning him to the ground. The thud leaving a Crack in the ground beneath them.
"Come on michel. Adam's bitching" Elise called
A smirk formed on my mouth at the thought of those two bickering. I ran over to them at top speed, dodging trees as I went, it didn't take long for me to catch up to the couple walking at human pace. Adam was shoving Elise from a joke she just said.
"No really I mean it. It's a good joke." She protested
He patted her head, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"Elise you are the least funny person I've met" He said
She huffed her response as we all continued to walk.
"Michel" cassies voice ringed out into my mind. "Aarons here"
"What does that bastard want?" I growled
"Money" She said

"Aaron I thought I told you not to come over to my place anymore" I said
He slid past me at the front door and walked into my small apartment.
"I know you don't want to see me right now but can we just at least talk about the other day" He said "I thought you were opening back up to me"
"It was a mistake aaron" I said with a sigh
He sat on my bed, the only seating in the small room,it squeked underneath his weight.
"I heard you won the lottery from your mother." He said "she threatened me you know."
I let out a small chuckle, of course she did. I remembered telling her not to tell him but she just couldn't resist. The spiteful woman.
"Aaron. I've already decided to give you half in the divorse. That should sweeten the deal foe you to sign the papers quickly."
Aaron held out a hand motioning for me to come closer. I followed his instruction, sitting down next to him.
"How did we get here cass? Money and divorce?" He asked
"You cheated on me remeber?" I said incredulously.
"One mistake" He muttered
"That lasted a long time" I countered.
"Pay off some of my bills now. You have the money for it I have loan sharks breathing down my neck." He said
"Go to a lawyer and draw up an agreement first. I'm not giving you a dime until then." I demanded
He turned to me as if he'd been struck down, a gasp on his face.
"Angie's not a good look for you." He said
I pushed up off the bed angrily, walking around the small space.
"And cheating not one for you" I said
"Pay off some of my debts and I'll leave" He said then looking down.
I was furious did I not just tell him I'd give him half in the divorse? He wanted more? I would stand my ground, I wanted this to be fair but he wasn't having any of it.
"No" I said
Hw got up then, grabbed my arms so fast I could barely register it. He held me up against the wall, pressing his body into mine, he started to cry.
"Why don't you love me anymore!" He yelled down at me and I cowered
"Michel!" I shot out mentally
"I'm on my way love" Michel responded. "Keep him talking"
"I don't love you because you ripped my heart open!" I yelled back
He bent his head down, his face right up against my own, his breath tickling my cheeks.
"You've been with him haven't you" He asked moving my defenseless hands up he grabbed both my wrists with one hand now and held them tightly, his other hand coming around to hold my face. He kissed me roughly. I squirmed and fought, but he banged my hands against the wall.
"Your hurting me Aaron" I cried
"Pay my loans" He spat.
"Fine fine I'll pay them just don't do this!" I pleaded.
"Promise me" He said
"I promise" I cried out body shaking all over.
He smiled down at me then, before kissing me roughly, hand still on my face. Who was this man? Where had the Aaron I loved gone? The man who'd sing happy tunes while cooking me breakfast. A loud pounding came at the door then, and Aaron broke away from me, setting me free I ran to the door. Michel had a look of such malice I couldn't fathom his rage for a second. He moved on my husband, shoving him up against a wall until his feet came off the ground.
"How do you like it huh?! Not so fun when your the powerless one" Michel snarled.
Aaron had a look of pure shock and humiliation he swung out with his fist but Michel moved his head out of the way, grabbing his arm and shoving it up against the wall, breaking a whole in the dry wall.
"Big man wants to intimidate a little female." He said and threw Aaron to the ground. "Well here's your turn to be the little bitch!" Michel roared
Aaron shuffled to his feet and moved to run out of the room, slamming the door behind him. I was crying then, rushing over to michel he took me in his arms.
"Shhhhh" He pleaded while patting my head. "It's ok now love I'm here"
"He went crazy" I sobbed "I thought he was going to hurt me or rape me"
I cried and cried into michels chest as he held me throughout the night.
