"What the he'll was that?!" I asked
We were home now and my mind had started clearing up some from all the alcohol. Aaron stood in the kitchen, myself plopped down on the couch from my growing headache I peered over the side. He was leaning on the counted top of the island, arms out in front of him, he looked stressed.
"I told you a coworker" he said
"It looked like more then that" I said back voice raising, my ears ringing from my headache.
"Well talk about it after we've both sobered up" Aaron said, his head now in his hand.
"No well talk about it now. I'm plenty sober" I call out, standing up from my position on the couch.
"Talk to me. Because that looked like an awfully suspicious encounter." I said
Aaron's face twisted into an expression of worry, his eye brows scrunched up and his eyes widening, clearly battling with himself on what to say, I waited.
"Her name is emily" He said finally
My hands go up in the air, fury rising to my head, a make my way over to him.
"And what you've been sleeping with her!?" I scream
His face changes again, the signs of sorrow and regret clear. He moves toward me, eliminating the gap between us, he reaches for my face with one hand but I quickly slap it away.
"Don't touch me" I stagger out
"It was one time Cass. It meant nothing. I ended it." He breathed, his chest rising and falling quickly.
"Don't ever touch me again" I said turning on my heels and bounding up the stairs. I slammed the door, leaving Aaron behind. A great wave of sorrow hit me, as I slid down the door, tears coming to my eyes. I cried for hours, the betrayal hitting deep in my heart. How could he do this to me?! After years of marriage he was supposed to be my rock, my best friend. The memory of when we first met coming to my mind, I cried harder. How lucky i thought I was, meeting the man of my dreams. On my wedding day I cried from joy, being married to such a kind and generous man, bringing tears to my eyes. Now I cried from his betrayal.
A nock came at the door then, a soft and gentle knock, barely audible, I didn't answer.
"Cass" Aaron's voice weakly came through the door. "Cass I love you please talk to me"
I continued to ignore him, waiting for the sound of his footsteps to tell me he left. I waited.
"Cass im not leaving until you talk to me" He said
Still I waited, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of my voice. Finally after too long, his foot steps sounded, he had left the door. I got up from my sitting area, crawling over to the bed, I hoist myself weakly up into the covers.
"You deserve more" the male voice came.
"Now your listening in on my drama!? Entertainment for the night huh?!" I mentally shoot back.
"I'm sorry for your pain." He merly said back and then he was gone, leaving me to my grief, I cried alone.

------------

The next day I woke to an empty house, checking our room for Aaron's belongings, I found all of his stuff still there. In the kitchen there was a note on the countertop. 'Thought you wouldn't want to see me today. I'll be at mikes.' It read. I took the note and crumpled it, quickly throwing it away in the garbage can. Home alone I didn't know what to do.
Do I call up a divorce lawyer? My mother would be thrilled, always thinking Aaron wasn't good enough for me lately. My head goes in my hands as I wonder about my situation. I wanted to know Emily. I wanted her side of it.
I grab my jacket and threw it over my pajamas, not caring about the way I looked I headed out to my car. Aaron said she was a coworker, so that's where I'd go, his work. My elaborate firing up to life, I make my way out and into the city. Aaron's work was a posh little dinner in the city, serving breakfast and lunch, I park my car and make myway inside the brick building.
"Reservations?" The hottest asked me, flicking her eyes down my body, noting my outfit.
"No I'm here to see emily" I answered.
"Riight." She said "if you'll wait to the side I'll go grab her."
I took a seat on the padded bench, going over what all I'd even say to the woman. I had no idea, not considering it before I left, I only wanted the truth. I see the petite blonde round the corner a smile on her face until she Spies me, eyes locking with my own, her face turns to a grimace.
"What can I help you with?" She asks
"I want the truth" I seeth "your sleeping with my husband"
The hostess now back to her spot at the entree, quickly starts to usher us outside.
"Take it outside ladies" She breaths "away from the customers"
Emily looks like the last place she wanted to go was outside with me, but she follows anyways. Worry on her face, she crosses her arms, now standing in front of me on the side of the building.
"What do you want me to say? That I sucked his cock?" She asked defensively
"How many times?" I asked
She let's out a small chuckle then, the sound grading on my ears, that was the last thing I wanted to hear.
"Look we've been together for months now. That answer your question?" She said
I wanted to slap this bitch, my anger rising from her disrespectful tones, but I held back, raining in my feelings.
"Did you know?" I asked
"Know what?" She said
"Know he was married" I said
"He never even mentioned you to anyone." She said "by the way he flirted I never would have guessed. The way he payed after me."
Yep. This girl was deffinatly a raging bitch. Having heard all I needed from this girl, I quickly turned on my heel and left for my car, without another word. They could rot in he'll. They could bother rot in he'll together.
"Do you need me to avenge you?" The males voice called in my mind.
"Ow stay out of it" I called back
"Somethings coming" He answered back suddenly serious. "Something...."
