I listen to people with empathy,
I respond to whatever they're saying. But when I have something to say,
They listen to me with apathy.

And look at me with disinterest.

They say, "Oh, you never said things were happening."Excuse me, I never told you?!
You never paid attention when I was opening up, is what I say in my head. But all I am able to say to them is,
"Maybe I should have said it earlier when things weren't as bad."
