Open up once,
Let out my thoughts, my fears.
Get betrayed.
Open up twice,
Share my thoughts with care,
Maybe not share my fears.
Get betrayed.
Open up thrice,
Barely speak at all.
Still get betrayed.
So I close the door-
Never open up again.
"What did I ever do?"
His innocent brown eyes asked.
Nothing.
He did nothing,
Yet here he stands,
Paying for mistakes
That were never his.
