The job shadow actually went pretty great, he isn't very old so I was surprised that he literally couldn't figure out the simplest tasks on his own.  He decided to offer me a job that evening before I left. I asked him if I could think about it, and it was the funniest thing ever because it set him off again. Mr. Woo is actually pretty funny when he's annoyed. I caught myself almost laughing out loud multiple times throughout the day. He would look over and give me a look.  If he wasn't so reactive it wouldn't be this funny. Right before I left, he offered me the position. I accepted because well I needed it.

It has now been about a month that I've been working here, and still babysitting Nate on the weekends sometimes. Kook and I never spoke about that night on the stairs, even though I wanted to bring it up a million times. I let it go though. He's with Olivia, which is like my aunt. It's all just weird, he just doesn't fit with her. I have really gotten attached to Nate, I'll be really sad when he goes back to Korea with his parents.

It's now Saturday and I agreed to watch Nate tonight while Kook, and Olivia went out for a big corporate party. I got to the house and knocked. Kook came to the door.

Kook: Hey, come inside.

He said with a smile. His smile always makes me feel like I could melt right there in front of him.

Amelia: Hey. 

I followed behind him into the kitchen.

Kook: We just got done cooking dinner, Are you hungry?

Amelia: Actually yeah I am.

Kook: Here.

He grabbed a plate and started asking me what I wanted on it. He's always so nurturing.  I don't know how Olivia hasn't tried to lock this man down already. I have to admit I'm a little jealous when it comes to seeing them together. I know I should be happy for them, but he acts different when Olivia is with us. When she isn't here he is so much fun, and has such a goofy personality.

Olivia: She can make her own plate Jungkook.

Kook: It's fine, she's a guest.

Olivia: She's family, she can get it herself.

I went to take the plate from him, so it wouldn't cause any issues. She used his government name so I knew he was pushing it.

Amelia: I can make it, thank you though for offering.

He looked kind of irritated, but handed me the plate. His phone started to ring.

Kook: I have to take this, I'll be right back.

Olivia: How is your new job Amelia?

Amelia: Uh, It's actually going well. I really like it. My boss is something else but he's funny.

Olivia: Don't you work at the lawyers office down by my job?

Amelia: Yeah, I do.

Olivia: Oh so your boss is which lawyer?

Amelia: It's Mr. Woo.

Her eyebrows slightly raised.

Olivia: Which one? Dad or son?

Amelia: Definitely son, considering he's probably not far from your age.
