I went home that night and I couldn't get it out of my head. The way he looked at me afterwards made me feel like I betrayed him or something. I feel guilty, and a little sick about it. I thought he wanted it just as bad as I did. It still doesn't make it right, especially because of Olivia. I don't even want to show my face in front of him. I feel so embarrassed now.

A week later

I've been going to work and minding my business for the most part. I haven't heard from Kook, so I know I ruined that. I feel really sad about it though especially because I was getting really close to Nate, and soon enough he will be going back home. I just can't show my face there. I've been avoiding Olivia at all costs. She has came over multiple times since that night.

Work hasn't been too bad, and Mr. Woo has actually been a lot nicer to me recently. We still have our moments though where we bicker over something so simple because he clearly doesn't understand how some things work. I've worked a lot of overtime this past week, so my check was pretty damn good this time.

It's around 5:30 pm on a Friday and I was heading home for the night.  I was standing outside the building but under an awning because it was raining out, and I was trying to wait it out so I could run to the bus stop which is across the street. I could see a figure in my peripheral.

Mr. Woo: Waiting for a ride?

Amelia: No, just waiting for the rain to calm down a little.

Mr. Woo: Scared to get wet?

Amelia: I'm not trying to walk around looking like a drowned rat.

He laughed a little. Like this....

Amelia: I'm glad I'm amusing to you

Amelia: I'm glad I'm amusing to you.

Mr. Woo: Very...

Amelia: Okay, have a good night. Please go before I punch you and lose my job.

Mr. Woo: Technically since we are no longer on the clock it wouldn't matter anyways.

Amelia: Oh so I could just hit you now, and there wouldn't be any repercussions?

Mr. Woo: Something like that.

Amelia: Hmm.. I like that Idea.

I punched him in the arm lightly.

Mr. Woo: That felt like a bug bite.

Amelia: I was just taking it easy on you, and it looks like the rain is calming down, so I'm going to go. Have a good weekend!
