Matter comforted Kendra and drove off leaving Kiy standing in the parking lot of the women's clinic. It began raining. Kiy had no umbrella getting soaked as he walked 10 blocks from his apartment. The next week came. After coming out of the doctor's appointment with Rosalina. Rosalina tried kissing him and he turned his face away she tried again and he moved completely away from her. Her mom pulled up to pick her up Kiy waited til she drove off and started walking home.
