Strings of fate
Where r the invisible golden chords
Playing in silence
Who do they play for
Drowned out by the Cheos
The talk the boasts
Shadows of students and dangling
Ghosts
How much further can this story go
When every stepping stair is another unknown
Dam dam dam
I don't want this flake of snow
Dam dam dam spiking fates that I don't know
Look beyond the horizon orange but bleak
A Blood orange sun
A Washcloth
wash away the face of peace
Wonder where they'll cut the strings
Golden fates
Woven strings
I can't see the closing gates
Closing doors, wrestling rings
Betting money gambling things
Chips and picks play the music of strings.

First True LoveI miss my one true love
An icy arrow in my back
Remiss my one true love
As it stabs me in attack
An injured wounded Doe
Runs back to their hunter so,
Why does it have no fear
A threatening presence to be near
They say the blues are blue, they're not
A grey dark skies a better thought
Clouds of memory,
Drops of fear
Of a time my icy, cold, first love
Was near

UselessSometimes I feel as useless
As drywall against a nuclear bomb
Sometimes I feel as fragile as stain glass against a worn baseball
Pummeled and crushed metal gone to rust
Gold plated coffee sipped all the way through
Fake dollar bills
Placebo pills
Is that all that I am to be
Is that all I really think of me?

New innocenceHot like fire
Cold nerves blue
I feel flushed when I'm this close to you
In my dreams and fantasies
Speak to me in poetry
Across the room
In front of me
You hand a paper I look up to seeEvery once in a blue moon our eyes meet
It's only us in the class
Raising hands
Generate heat
Spoken hymns and annicdotes
In your mellopoeic words I want to
Know to
skim
On your rhymes, your thoughts and wims
Inside your giant hoodie is where I want to swim
If only you'd hand me your baseball cap if only we'd ever talked
But there are many chairs between you and me
Every time you speak
Is like a cliff walk.
Too scared to look down
but see
once in a while our eyes will
Meet.

AreFamiliar faces
Expectations and fees
Typical students and liabilities
Wondering, wondering if I'll skin my knees
On the way to a never ending nightmare of a dream.
You don't know where your going you don't know where you are
