Next Morning, 7AM.I turned sideways and pressed a button to end my phone alarm. A quiet yawn escaped my lips. I stretched both my arms and slowly rolled out of bed to grab hygiene utensils. Today is the day. Working at Pearson-Hardman. First we go through a vote meeting then start our morning. I walked to the bathroom where Maya already was. We did our morning routines before getting dressed. The only thing I hated about work was wearing dresses all the time. If anybody knew me and Maya, they'd know we're identical but opposites. To make it shorter she's girly, I'm tomboyish. Usually, she would wear a dress but I'd wear gorgeous pantsuits with high tops or boots. All the odd stares or surprised looks people used to give at Dad's firm didn't matter anything to me. Maya loved how confident I'm being by wearing them. Not all women are so 'feminine'. Curling iron, curling iron. Must be in her room. I went to her room where she wore a long black dress with dark louboutins. "Can I borrow your iron?" I asked. She didn't look away from the mirror and sighed. "The iron I got you for Christmas is still boxed up isn't it?" She asked. My brain clicked. Damn it! I've forgotten to unwrap the thing! "Oops." Is all I blurted and returned back to my room. The plastic-covered iron was above my closet where my other accessories were. After a few minutes, my hair was finished:
