10PM.

Finding a dress for a simple ballet ball felt a little easy though I never intended to go. But finding one for this party Darby International was throwing that everyone, including Harvey, was going to seemed a whole lot harder. Rachel and I visited the shopping square. The first place we hit was SHEIN. An awesome place of dresses. Three minutes passed, I was still looking and nodding in disapproval at the same time. She successfully managed to find a dress she liked. Why am I having all the trouble? Rachel sat on the bench. "Liz, why stress yourself out? Just find something that's your style." She asked calmly. I walked away from another dress pile and huffed. "If these dresses are actually my style. Dresses have always been Maya's thing, not mine." I spoke frustratedly. She watched me almost amusedly. "What?" Is all I asked confusedly. A teasing smirk crept up her lips. "Are you trying to find something to get Harvey's attention?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. I looked at her in disbelief, shock and pure denial. "What? No! No! I'm not trying to do that. Why would I need a dress to get his attention? That's not my way when it comes to men." I disagreed. Rachel pretended to think for a second. "Oh, I don't know. Maybe cause if Scottie's going to come, you'll—I cut her off by scoffing. "Not pay the homewrecker any mind. She'd back off if I even give one glare. And if she come onto him, I'd take off my heel and smack—She cut me off by giggling uncontrollably. "You are so—I can't say it!" She giggled. I looked down to hide a small giggle and cleared my throat. "I'll try finding a dress without giving myself a hard time." I assured. Rachel smiled, getting off the bench. "Let me help. It's what ladies do on a shopping trip." She offered nicely. I nodded before we head off to another racket of dresses.

We've been searching for three more minutes until this dress on a mannequin caught my eye. My jaw slowly dropped. Rachel already bought her dress and waited patiently until I find mine. I quickly asked the cashier if I try it on. She carefully took it off the mannequin and gave it to me. "You're gonna try that on?" Rachel asked. I quickly nodded. "Ok." She muttered unsurely after I've already disapproved half the dresses here. She followed behind as I walked to the changing room. Gosh, I freaking love this dress! And the color isn't too dark. "Ready?" I beamed excitedly. She smiled. "For the hundredth time." She spoke sarcastically. I opened the door while carefully stepping out. A moment of silence echoed when she stared at the dress in shock and wonderment. "Oh. My. God." She blurted. I laughed, twirling around softly. It even matches white-sparkled necklace and earrings I got. "Are you saying yes to the dress?" Rachel quoted. I smiled happily. "Hell yes." I responded confidently. Whether this merger was happening or not, Scottie isn't going to make my relationship hell.

6PM. ~ Front Porch. ~

Maya took her medicine and fell asleep. She couldn't see my dress so I took pictures to send later. Donna was watching Avery since she wasn't coming. I hugged myself with my soft fluffy coat in order to stay warm. The evening was a little warm yet feels cool sometimes. Finally, my personal limousine was pulling up in the driveway. I smiled excitedly. The chauffeur got out and kindly opened the door for me. I thanked him before carefully getting in without dirtying my dress. He sat back on the drivers seat. "Where to Miss Parker?" He asked. "(Party name and address)." I told him. Starting the car, I made myself comfortable by texting Rachel.

BlueQueen👑🩵: are u there already?

Rach💜💁🏽‍♀️: yes, are u coming?

BlueQueen👑🩵: my ride just came, be there soon😉

Riding in a limousine automatically felt like I was a celebrity going to an event and surprising people with your appearance. It felt quite humorous and fun altogether. Once the limousine pulled up, I was instantly ecstatic. "Here we are Miss Parker. Would you like me to return at nine?" He asked. "Yes. I'll be picking up someone." I said. "Alright." He spoke before getting out and opening the door. I carefully stepped out, making sure my purse didn't sling off my shoulder. He nodded politely. I returned the gesture and walked elegantly through which security opened the entrance for me. I took a moment to take in all my surroundings and got mesmerized. Darby International throw parties like this? The crowds were big, the food/drink bars were big, background music was playing. I walked past a few people though their stares were completely on my appearance. I spotted Rachel and Mike behind them. I mentally smirked. Wonder if he's got nervous talking to her. But another presence caught my full attention, despite the attention people were giving me over my dress.

Harvey.

He looked incredibly handsome. Making his dramatic entrance made people almost notice as he pulled at his cuffs and walked to the gallery where people were mingling and interacting with each other. I madly blushed while holding a laugh. Instead of approaching him, I went to where Mike chatted with Rachel. She must've saw me since a shocked grin popped on her face. "What's up? Why are you grinning?" He asked weirdly. I cleared my throat. Mike turned around and his jaw dropped in complete shock.

I smiled amusedly

I smiled amusedly. "Hey you two." I spoke. Rachel grinned. "You look amazing Liz." She complimented. Mike nodded in agreement. I giggled. "Thanks. You too." I said shyly. Ugh, now I feel like wanting a drink. "Maya isn't coming?" He mentioned. I nodded. "She's getting better but most likely to recover in two days." I told him. Rachel breathed a breath of relief. "Good. We can stop texting all the time." She added. "Excuse me, I'm in need of a drink." I told them and excused myself to the drink bar. I sipped my wine glass yet my stomach became rattled with butterflies. Harvey was talking to Mike but I was eyeing him quite flirtatiously. Before he'd glance at me, I turned around and sipped my glass. An unignoring scent suddenly hit my nose until I come to realize it smelled aftershave. "Elizabeth?" The deep voice called. I looked up to while smirking. "In the flesh. How are you, sir?" I flirted. Harvey returned the gesture. "I'm doing fine, now that you're here. You look really good." He spoke flirtatiously. My cheeks burned crazily. "Hm, you don't look bad yourself. Perhaps my night isn't so lonely after all." I teased. He smirked lustfully and intertwined his hand with mine. We walked off discreetly to a bathroom where things became very steamy.

9PM.

After exiting the party, my limo pulled up. Harvey's eyes widened. "This your ride?" He asked. I grinned, flicking my hair. "Uh huh. I figure adding a little surprise for my entrance." I joked but in a serious tone. He smirked and shrugged. "Alright. Let's go." He said. "I'm just going to get Avery from Donna's." I reminded. Harvey opened the door for me. "I know." He spoke softly. My cheeks burned hotly. I grinned and carefully got in. He followed, sitting beside me. "Take me to (Donna's house address)." I told the chauffeur. He nodded. "Yes Miss Parker." He responded nicely. Harvey wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my jawline. I smiled, snuggling on his chest as the car rode. "If only we'd go somewhere else." He whispered in my ear. I madly blushed but fixed his hair a little. "Tame yourself Specter." I sassed. He simply grinned. Yet our chauffeur winked before closing our front view of the road. Harvey kissed my jawline, my collarbone and lips. I moaned quietly and rubbed his hair carefully as his hands rubbed my sides repeatedly. We kissed passionately.

In my room, I chilled in bed finishing another song I've worked on this week. One that is secretly Harvey-inspired. A happy grin hadn't left my face as I was writing continuously. Even more happy how this night turned out to be. But tomorrow will be a different mystery.
