No matter how long or where the memory went, Layontsin made up her mind to continue.
In this next memory, the anthro thanator was once again outside where the multitude of skypeople were. The sky now gave a slight drizzle that coated the ground and anyone that did not use a covering method. Furthermore, she realized that this place was a different one, with smaller structures surrounding a more taller one. This tall structure was taller than Layontsin had ever seen before, and she craned her neck to look upwards at the sky. The sheer size of this thing took her breath away when she saw that this structure extended from the ground all the way up to the sky, seeming to go on forever to the stars. She realized that this must be the way that skypeople traveled from their world, across the stars, and to her home world. Impressed by the creation of this massive thing that felt impossible to make, she remembered her goal of searching for Asim and the others. So, she looked back down in front and made her way though the sea of skypeople in search for them. It was more difficult said than done as it was impossible to make out between the faces of each individual skypeople that were going from one direction to another like a swarm of insects. After a moment she tried to concentrate on the sounds of their voices, processing them to detect any of the group that accompanied Asim.
Layontsin's crest plates moved to the side a bit when she heard a familiar voice from one of the group right beside her. "Come on. We have to hurry and meet up with the others." Emeralda's voice was heard nearby, Layontsin turning her head around and spotting the skyperson. Emeralda was accompanying Asim, both of them looking around as if they were trying to avoid someone. The anthro thanator looked around and tried to spot anyone that dressed in something suspicious, but everyone looked the same. "Do you think they are already there waiting?" Emeralda asked Asim as they hurried towards the base of the immensely tall structure. "I am not sure. But let's not take it for granted that we aren't being followed." Asim said in response with a low voice as they continued making their way to the tall structure. Layontsin watched them and immediately followed them close behind as they soon entered the smaller structure that stood beneath the tall one. Inside there was the same amount of skypeople walking around and swarming the place. Layontsin did her best to not lose sight of Emeralda and Shaka as they continued to walk to another section, entering a labyrinth of pathways that went in all directions and even upwards.
Fearing that she would get lost in this endless maze, Layontsin moved closer to both Asim and Emeralda, who seemed to know their way though the place as they looked up at some things that hung from the ceiling and moved to a specific direction. Soon enough, Layontsin noticed Asim and the rest of his allies approaching from the front. Most noticeably was Lily, just a tad bit more grown and able to now walk and run, rushing towards them while calling their names. "Hey! Lily! We missed you so much these weeks!" Emeralda said with a rare genuine smile on her face as she and Asim kneeled down to hug the small girl. Then Asim picked her up in his arms and went to greet his friends. "How long until the space elevator(?) launches and the Venture(?) Star departs?" Asim asked Kentaro. "Twelve minutes. The Venture Star will depart in less than one hour(?)." Kentaro said as he looked up behind Emeralda and Asim, the two of them and Layontsin following his gaze. There was a covered opening in the ceiling that allowed anyone to see what was happening outside. There, they could see that some object was starting to ascend along one side of the immense structure and then pick up speed...until they could no longer see it. "You think we can board the elevator more sooner? I am getting the feeling that we are being followed." Shaka said as he glanced to the sides, searching for something. Asim noticed the alertness of his friend and took note of it as he too surveyed their surroundings. "I think we should consider the fact that even in a densely populated area they will still go after us." Asim said to everyone. "Even if we plan to embark on the cargo(?) area, we should pass by unnoticed by the inspectors(?) and brace during the ascent." Emeralda said. "Then let's not waste time and get to the gates so we can have our registrations(?) checked. The others will join us in the next transport now that I've sent the message." Chang said. Everyone agreed and started to head towards the center of the lower structure. "It will be a long time before they join us." Mikhail said as they all walked.
