"You okay, son?'" Levi asked Sawyer.

Sawyer nodded before rushing to his mother, closely followed by Levi, who hurried to free her. He tossed the keys to Alpha Benedict, who released Beta Chris and Gamma Nolan.

"Are you all right?" Alpha Benedict asked them.

Beta Chris advanced aggressively towards the agents and Alpha Keith: "You don't have any business here. I therefore ask you to kindly leave our land of your own free will or I shall be obliged to remove you by force."

"I'll escort them back to the border to make sure." Alpha Benedict declared.

Beta Chris and Gamma Nolan joined Levi and Sawyer at Nevaeh's side, as soon as Alpha Keith and the agents were out of sight.

"What did they give her?" Levi asked them.

"We don't know! Those bastards sedated her while she allowed them to arrest her quietly. That's why we all went nuts!" Beta Chris replied.

"You have a healer in your pack, don't you?" Gamma Nolan asked Marcus.

"Yes, I have his phone. I can ask him to meet us at the mansion." Marcus confirmed.

"Perfect, let's do it then!" Levi retorted, taking Nevaeh in his arms.

He took her gently into his arms. She seemed so light to him that he wondered if she was taking enough care of herself. She was still very much affected by Brody's death, but she had to be careful anyway, he thought.

When Evangeline saw Levi carrying her unconscious mother through the portal in his arms, her blood ran cold.  Her brother was following them, defeated.

"Mama!" She screamed in despair.

"She's not harmed. She's just been sedated." Levi was trying to reassure her.

Sawyer didn't know how to react. He was still reeling from having his mother treated like this. She had struggled and tried in vain to fight the effects of the drug when she saw they were going to arrest him too. And now he found himself face to face with his sister, whom he hadn't seen in over three weeks. He was torn between the anger he felt and the need to hug her to reassure himself as they so often did.

"Peter will be here in a few minutes." Marcus stated.

"Come and set her up in her room." Avery instructed Levi.

Even though Avery and Nevaeh no longer lived at the mansion, they'd kept their old rooms. He nodded. He followed her into the mansion, closely followed by Sawyer and Evangeline, who was sobbing.

A few seconds later, Peter, the healer, joined them.

"There are too many people in this room! I'm going to have to ask you to leave." Peter demanded.

"I'm not leaving you alone with her." Levi flatly refused.

"Can you call Oliver to calm my sister down, please? I'll stay with her until you get back." Sawyer offered and Levi couldn't refuse him that especially seeing the state of panic Evangeline was in.

"All right. I'll call him right away." Levi answered, stepping out of the room.

He sensed Sawyer wanted a moment alone with his mother and the healer. He decided to wait until Oliver arrived. When Evangeline saw him, she threw herself into his arms, crying harder. Oliver took her to calm down in another room, leaving Avery and Levi alone.

"Is she all right? I mean she seemed so light when I carried her. She's taking care of herself, isn't she?" Levi asked Avery.

"She's very affected by Brody's death. These last few months have been exhausting for her. She could take more time for herself, but she's careful not to skip meals and to work out every day."
