"We love you Mani!" Emani just concluded her brief tour in Phoenix, Arizona, and was met with a standing ovation from her fans.
An overwhelmed and drained Emani crossed her hands over her heart as small bullets of water formed in her eyes. "I love you." She mouthed to the excited fans who were probably just as overwhelmed from her presence alone.
She whispered the same words to her supporters in the upper section of the arena, making them go berserk, not wanting to leave any of them out.
A sleepy Emani swallowed and closed her eyes, trying not to pass out from exhaustion. She decided it was time to leave the stage so she wouldn't cause a fright to her supporters if she passed out. "Love to all of you!" She spoke in the mic before leaving the stage meeting her three close friends, Mehkai, Torianna and Ryan backstage.
"You did so good girl." Torianna geeked holding Emani by her shoulders making a smile grace her face. "Thank you Tori."
"Congrats on endin' yo' first tour." Mehkai smiled nudging her shoulder as Emani returned a smile. "Congratulations Mani." Ryan smiled grabbing her into a hug.
Emani appreciated their kind words but it felt like the more she talked the more her eyes lowered and sleepier she got. She was ready to go home and lay in her bed. "Where's my daddy?" She asked her friends.
"He inna' crowd wit' ya' nana and brother. Remember?" Mehkai told her. "Oh yea." Emani's eyebrows rose as her memory came back to her. "I'm sorry, i'm just tired." Emani lifted her hand to her lips as a deep yawn escaped her mouth.
Her three friends exchanged worried glances with one another. They were aware that she hadn't taken her prescription since the start of the tour and a while before that; this would always have a negative impact on her after her performances.
They were always nagging her to take her medicine, but ultimately it died down since she would become upset with them for bringing it up so frequently, so they gave up.
Emani casted her gaze on the ground as if she was searching for something. Ravia, her official assistant finally came to tend to her needs. "Ravia." Emani spoke lifting her hand to Ravia's shoulder. "Watchu' need baby?" Ravia followed Emani's head movements trying to meet her low red eyes.
"Chair." Emani muttered still searching the ground. "Huh?" Ravia leaned her ear closer to Emani so she could hear her more clearly. "I needa' chair." Emani's words were sluggish.
