Is it okay to move now?
No, let's endure a bit longer.
But my back is starting to ache...
And I'm feeling a bit hungry...
Eun-oh, lying down, fidgeted the hand placed on his stomach. Although it had been a while since he woke up, Young Master, who had fallen into a deep slumber, showed no signs of waking up, leaving Eun-oh unable to move.
He glanced sideways, rolling his eyes. The Young Master lying so still showed no sign of waking up. How could someone sleep so soundly without making a single sound or movement? It truly left him in awe; Young Master seemed to have no sleeping movements at all.
Upon awakening, he had been startled, emitting an inadvertent noise. Notably, he found himself sleeping right next to the Young Master, nestled under the blanket that his arms and legs had covered. It appeared he had unconsciously sought a warm spot after dozing off, but even so, it was overly daring.
Considering how stern the Young Master could be upon waking up and witnessing this scene, Eun-oh wondered how he might react. Judging by his guess, the Young Master wouldn't take it well. So, despite intending to get up carefully,
'It's noisy... stay still....'
The muffled voice soaked in drowsiness restrained any movement. Eun-oh, who noticed deep wrinkles between his flat eyebrows, quickly lay back down.
If the Young Master asked him to stay still, what choice did he have? Just stay still, then.
Since then, up until now, he has been in this state. Unable to make any noise as the Young Master found it noisy, he dared not even move. It felt as if he were tightly bound by invisible strings. Tension stiffened every joint and bone, making lying down uncomfortable. As time passed, his body began to ache and protest in various places.
Eun-oh, in his agony, even started drooling on his pillow.
Oh, when will you wake up?
During his time in the side room, he had learned that Chae Yoon-sa rose very early. Even before it was fully bright, he could hear Kang-hee's voice requesting entry, and not long after, the sound of him coming out.
However, today, despite the day being well underway, there was no sign of the Young Master getting up. Eun-oh wondered if something was wrong with his health, but examining his complexion proved futile. He never had the talent to discern such things.
The discomfort and pain were one thing, but the real issue was hunger. As it approached breakfast time, his stomach began to grumble loudly. Soon, there would be thunder inside his belly.
When he lived in outer courtyard, if he went to the kitchen late, there would be nothing left, and he couldn't eat. Therefore, as soon as he opened his eyes, he used to rush straight to the kitchen. When he was lying down due to illness, someone would bring food for him, but now that he had resumed his servant duties, he couldn't hope for such kindness.
As time passed, he became increasingly anxious. Eating something would make the work less strenuous...
Suffering from habitual hunger and anxiety, Eun-oh finally, after careful consideration, rolled his body to the side. Initially, he rolled once and cautiously checked for any signs from Chae Yoon-sa. Fortunately, Chae
Yoon-sa remained undisturbed, seemingly oblivious to any abnormalities. Encouraged by this, Eun-oh rolled another half turn. However, this time, his legs got caught on the bedding. Eun-oh bit his lip, raising both legs up to his chest. In this position, he rolled back half a turn again, holding his breath, carefully observing Chae Yoon-sa's condition.
