The sun sets over the western mountains and the moon rises in the east.
He paused for a moment, gazing at the slowly approaching darkness beyond the horizon. Considering the season, it was probably the eleventh hour of the day. Despite departing early in the morning and traveling at a fast pace, he had not yet escaped the flatlands.
If he continued without a break, he might reach Chae Ga-won by tomorrow midnight, or perhaps by the morning after a brief rest.
There was no particular reason to hurry back. With the mission accomplished, relishing the landscape on the journey back seemed a fitting notion.
There was no need to rush back in hurry, even if it meant traveling through the night.
Bang-!
In the distance, flames erupted into the sky, the source being the fireworks igniting the expanse of Gangju's fields. As he gazed at the fireworks blooming on the night sky, a childlike wonder face crossed his mind.
Bang-! Bang-!
Fireworks explode one after another.
"He'd probably like seeing this."
Chae Yoon-sa whispered softly and turned his horse's head. Neither the dazzling fireworks nor the starlight in the night sky could hold him any longer. He rushed towards Chae Ga-won.
