As time flowed inexorably onward, another season descended upon them-the chilly dew of late autumn.
On a morning when the cold dew began to form, lingering even as the chill of dawn slowly dissipated, Eun-oh diligently tended to his tasks.
His first duty of the day was to cleanse Chae Yoon-sa's body.
"Young master, the days are getting colder. I think Winter will be coming soon"
Chae Yoon-sa remained silent, his consciousness still deeply submerged. Despite knowing he cannot hear, Eun-oh meticulously cleansed his face and body, ceaselessly murmuring comforting words.
"Yesterday, I had a dream after a long time. I can't quite remember what it was about, but it seems like it was a good dream. Waking up, there was an unusually pleasant feeling. Maybe I did something with you in the dream, Young Master?"
"..."
"Are you perhaps dreaming too? Am I in your dreams? I'm really curious..."
"..."
"But, when will you wake up? The doctor says your body is almost fully recovered. So why do you keep sleeping? When I asked, they said they don't know..."
"..."
"Do you not want to wake up? That can't be it, right? ...I hope not."
Drip, drip.
Speaking, tears unknowingly welled up again, falling down. Eun-oh sniffled, using the back of his hand to wipe away the tears. Despite his efforts, he couldn't contain his emotions and simply lay on top of Chae Yoon-sa chest, crying.
"Young Master... When will you wake up?"
"..."
"Can't you just wake up now?"
"..."
Chae Yoon-sa remained silent. However, in a fleeting moment, one of his fingers twitched, a small teamor stirring.
