It had a human-like appearance, but with two horns on its head, and its eyes had a yellowish tint. Additionally, its features were remarkably beautiful, making it impossible to distinguish between male and female.
When General Pyo asked about its identity, it made incomprehensible sounds, different from human speech. Unable to understand its meaning, General Pyo ordered his subordinates to investigate. After extensive inquiries, it was discovered that among the locals, it was referred to as a Yokai that bewitch humans. General Pyo reported its existence to Emperor. The Emperor commanded to bring it before him. A month later, General Pyo presented the corpse of the Yokai to Emperor. After Emperor saw the dead Yokai, he angrily asked how it was killed. General Pyo, shedding tears, explained
'It bewitched me. A humble man like me had my heart stolen by it'
Kim Sohyun, who helped General Pyo, testified that after being possessed by the entity, General Pyo attempted to prevent its escape during its flight and, in a fit of rage, slashed it with a sword. Emperor held General Pyo accountable for unauthorized killing and sentenced him to fifty whip and imprisonment.
Four days later, General Pyo bit his tongue and committed suicide in prison. According to the report from the night watchman on that day, General Pyo, until the moment of his death, wept longing for the Yokai. His appearance was said to resemble that of a person possessed by a ghost
