♡Pond♡
Another day waking up alone in bed. I yawned and streched my legs and arms as I woke up. First thing I do in the morning, is making the bed. Afterwards, I make myself breakfast. I don't know how to do many dishes, but the ones I know, I learned from Nueng. He taught me some of them. And I have to say; they taste so delicious everytime! So after I enjoyed my breakfast, I opened my notebook and checked the weather. Good weather for flying. Since nothing else is new, I close it again and get dressed. I'm so excited for today, Nueng is finally coming back to Thailand! Nothing much has changed the past 2 years. Nueng's studying abroad in the USA, while I am here and run the bar. But today is the day he'll finally come back for holidays. I missed him so much, but I'm also happy he enjoys his time there so much. The bad thing about it is that we barely get to call, since he's very busy with his studies. My phone startles me. Incoming video call.
-"Hello, Nueng."
I say and smile.
-"Hey, Palm. The plan is taking off soon and I'll be there tonight or tomorrow morning. Wait for me, will you?"
I smile even wider.
-"Yes, of course krub."
He chuckles.
-"You're always so cheeky."
I laugh with him, then I say
-"I am so excited for you to come back. We haven't seen each other soo long! I missed you so, so much..."
-"Kruuuuuub. I know. You say that everytime we call."
He rolls his eyes ironically.
-"I can't help it, Nueng. I just love you very much."
Then Nueng smiles.
-"I do too."
-"You do what?"
He looks in a different direction and I hear an incoming announcement. My English has improved a lot more. I can now communicate with foreign customers which is good, even though I am not very confident in speaking English.
-"Listen, I have to go now. See you."
And then he hangs up. I smile and get the room ready for his arrival.
