Thank god his mother came. She saved us from these... thieves. Or whatever. I was so grateful that she helped us. Khun Nueng somehow managed to get home. We took the bus home because his mother only stopped by before going to her appointement late in the evening. Khun and I went to bed after that. But somehow, I couldn't sleep. I lay in bed awake for sometime before I realised they had a swimming pool. I love swimming at night. In my village, I often went swimming at night in the sea. It was very refreshing and quiet. So, I'm just gonna go swim here in the pool. As I quietly open the door to the outside, I breath in the fresh night air. Quiet, like always at night, I thought. I went down the yard, quickly took my shirt off and jumped in the pool. Swimming builds muscles and also, it can be a fun sports to do. I swam for half an hour.

I think I sobered up. It was so dumb of me to drink that alcohol just for Palm's attention... what the heck was I thinking??? Sigh. I looked out of the window to see the moonlight. But instead, I saw Palm swimming down in the pool. He looks like he's enjoying it very much. So, I decided to give him a little "surprise" and went downstairs to the pool. Dumb thing, but maybe he could teach me how to swim? I've never proberly learned it. "Oye, Palm. What are you doing?" He turns around and looks at me a little shocked. "Khun Nueng, what are you doing here??!" He asked. "Well, that's what I'm about to ask. What the frick are YOU doing here??" I looked challenging at him. "U-uhm... I'm so sorry Khun Nueng. I'll get out of the pool. Sorry." I rolled my eyes. "Wait." I said loudly. He looked at me, obviously expecting something. "Yes?" "I want to watch you swim." I said, all innocent. Palm looked stunned. "Khun Nueng, you don't know how to swim?" He asked. I smirked. "No. So what about it? Just let me watch you." Palm just nodded as an answer, and started to swim awkwardly. I had to smirk at him while he swam. Those moves he made looked so strong. Of course, he must've also done a lot of workout, like me. I liked watching him swimming. I wanted to be able to do it too.

I kind of expected that Khung Nueng doesn't know how to swim. But it was weird that he wanted to watch me... I thought about it the whole night. I sometimes watched him while I was underwater. He looked so... pretty? I don't know the right word for this.

The next morning, I woke up and got ready for school ... again. I didn't really like going to school because there was a person I didn't like. You can probably guess who it is. My dad drove Khun Nueng to school while I walked and took the bus. Ah, it's so hot today! Today, Khung Nueng's ma got called to school after school. I only stood outside the principal's office. I saw Khun and Ben together there. I almost couldn't believe what I've heard. Ben's dad also was there. He looked very disappointed. But Ben, didn't care about Khun Nueng's feelings at all, even though his dad was there. "The rumors are wrong! We aren't a couple! It was a mistake!" Those were one of the few things he said. The principal only commented with "This is a school. We don't need these kind of things! I don't care what you do when you're not at school, but this is place where it's not tolorated!" She looked very furious. I decided to sit down in front of the office and wait for Nuengdiao. I thought things over. Dang, I was actually jelous. Maybe.

I got so shocked. It shocked me. Just because his dad was there, Ben claimed it was a "mistake" kissing me. You know, after this I actually started hating him. I didn't know he was so... ugh. I dont want to remember myself. When the talk with the principal was finally over, we could leave. I am lucky my ma didn't have time. I don't think she would've wanted a son-in-law like this! I noticed Palm has waited for me. He fell asleep. "Palm. Wake up." I whispered. I watched Ben leave. "Tsk." He didn't even look at me. "Palm! School is over!!!" I smacked my hand at his forehead. "Huh? Ouh, sorry Khun Nueng." He said and sat up. I laughed at myself a little. "What are you apologizing for? I am the one that should be sorry for making you wait like this." He looked at me. "But-" "No but! Come on. It's already 6 pm." Palm just let me grab his hand and I took him to the old hotel of my family. We own a bigger one now, so we sold this one. Me and Palm went to the rooftop.

Khun Nueng took me to a place he liked going to when he felt at his worst. He actually looked a little sad. "Khun Nueng, can I do something for you?" I asked after a while of silence." He slowly looked in my direction. "What is it?" My heart was beating really fast. No, I shouldn't be catching feelings. I'm only doing this to comfort him. "Let me be your new beginning. Forget him. When you're with me, forget all of it. So, can you let me be your first real kiss?" I asked. What a stupid question. I was sure he would say no, but actually he nodded. "Alright. I need something new." He answered to my question. My eyes looked away for a second. Then, I leaned in. I wanted to make it a passionate, soft kiss. Then Our lips touched. He placed his lips on mine. We kissed for a long time before he put his head on my shoulder. No, again, I shouldn't be falling for him.
