As I stepped into the prison, I immediatley noticed the change of atmosphere. When I visited with Palm, it wasn't this gloomy. The policemen and guards never let their guard down.
-"Hello. I would like to know where someone called >Kit Suphakit< is."
I told the lady at the reception. She nodded and typed something into the computer. The keyboard sounds were even louder because it's really quiet here since there aren't lots of visitors.
-"He currently is in cell 34. He will be brought to the visitors area if you take a seat here just for a moment."
She pointed at the couch in the corner of the room. I nodded as a thanks.
-"Thank you."
Then the lady called someone on the telephone next to her on the desk. I didn't listen to the conversation because I was deep in thoughts, thinking about what I will tell my uncle.

-"Sir?"
The lady from the reception stood next to me. A little startled, I looked up at her.
-"Yes?"
-"The guard here will now show you the way to the visitors area."
I looked at both of them. They're both strong men, just like Palm.
-"Oh, alright. Thank you."
She made her way to the reception desk ans sat down, watching me leave with the guards.

-"Nuengdiao! How nice to see you again."
Instead of the ironic happiness that's normally sparkling in his eyes, my uncle's eyes were sharp as ever.
-"Hello uncle."
I sat down in front of the glass protection he was behind.
-"I just wanted to tell you that..."
I thought about it for a second.
-"That I'm glad you're here. My mother will wake up soon, and I'm sure she will not tolerate what you did. What you did to her. To the buisness. To me. And espacially to Palm."
His eyes looked angrier with every word I said.
-"The police is on it. Finding the person you probably hired to shoot me. But he missed. And I will not say he luckily missed me."
I cleared my throat and looked directly at his face.
-"Thank you for taking your time, my dear uncle."
Then I sat up and left him all furious. Finally I said what I wanted to say.

I heard footsteps behind me, and turned around. There was a policeman standing behind me.
-"Sir. I wanted to tell you that we have found traces of the person who your uncle hired. We are sure to finding him soon. We will be giving you more updates in the future."
I listened and nodded.
-"That's really good. Thank you a lot."
He bowed and left.

-"Palm! I already told you to take it easy multiple times."
I lectured him as he stumbled out of his hosptial bed and I catched him just in time. His rehab has just started, but the doctor told us he was making a lot of process. It's a positive sign for Palm to get better soon, but somehow....
Well, he just has his own mind of his. He's been stubborn and acting immature since he was hospitalized and his first rehab session started. He's been refusing my help and so on.
-"Khun Nueng, just let me get some fresh air!"
I sighed.
-"Palm, we already had this... come here, I'll help you."
He grumbled.
-"I told you I can do it myself."
-"Well obviously you can't."
Then he stayed quiet and let me help him to the small balcony this room has.
-"Palm seriously. How long are you going to contuinue being stubborn?"
I asked him and looked him in the eyes. He looked back at mine, but stayed quiet.
I'm just going to give him some time to think about it.
So I looked away and stared down at the city. That's when he cleared his throat.
-"Well, it's just that... uhm... I really don't like being in others care. Espacially not in yours. I feel like a burden to you. I feel like I'm some extra work you have to put up with."
I patted his head.
-"It's not like that. I really like taking care of you. And if you get better soon, you will be able to take care of me again, you know?"
I told him and caressed his hair. He took my hand and squeezed it.
-"Okay."
He just said.
Then I heard someone knocking on the door of the hospital room and the nurse allowed herself in. She stepped in the doorframe of the balcony door. I looked at her, expecting her saying something about Palm's rehab. But she was facing me, not him.
-"Your mother woke up."
