"I need to go to the police," Grace sighed as they loaded up supplies into Kie's car.

"Gracie the police aren't going to believe you," JJ said. She'd been trying to convince him to let her go to the cops all morning. He was having none of it, not wanting to be separated from her again.

"Sarah was there too. If we both tell the truth they'll have to listen," Grace continued.

"Sunshine-"

"No, J, please just listen to me. The police might laugh in my face but I need to try. Can't you get that?" she stopped loading up a box to look into his eyes.

He sighed, "I get it."

"Good, we agree. So y'all can drop me off while you get the keys to the phantom-"

"But I'm not letting you walk into a police station by yourself Gracie," JJ cut her off.

"Look, I'm going whether you agree or not. It's just a matter of if you'll give me a lift or not," she held her ground.

"There's no talking you out of this?"

"Nope."

"Fine, we'll drop you off, get the keys then pick you up. You better make it quick," he sighed.

Grace smiled and kissed him on the cheek while walking past him to climb into the back seat.

Just then Mrs. Anna, Kie's mom walked up. She yelled at her daughter and scolded her but Kie held strong and got into the car anyway.

Grace watched as Kie's mom begged her to stop the car and Kie sped off with tears in her eyes. Grace twiddled with her fingers in the backseat anxiously.

"Be careful okay?" JJ said, turning around to look at Grace in the back seat.

"I will JJ," she smiled reassuringly. She leaned forward and pressed a quick kiss to his mouth. "I'll see you soon, go get the key."

Grace climbed out of the car, took a deep breath then made her way into the police station. She looked back one more time to a worried JJ then made her way inside as the car pulled away.

"Hi ma'am," she greeted as she walked up to the front counter. The lady was aggressively typing on her computer.

"Now's not a good time sweetie," the woman said without looking up.

"I'm Grace Cameron and I was on the tarmac when Peterkin was shot," she ignored the lady.

The woman perked up at this and finally looked up at Grace. She quickly stood and led Grace into a board room in the back of the building, "Wait here, a detective will be here soon."

Grace sat and twiddled with her fingers, going over her statement over and over again in her head.

Her head shot up when she heard a voice.

"Grace! Sweetie, I'm so glad you're okay!"

Grace stood and backed away from Ward as a detective entered.

"What's going on?" Grace looked towards the detective.

"Grace, Rose was looking for you. She was all packed up to leave," Ward continued.

Grace ignored him and stared at the detective, "Sir, please I need to talk to you about John B."

"Your dad has been looking for you, he said you went missing a couple days ago. Is that not true?" he raised an eyebrow.

"No-"

"Grace I know you must have been through a lot. Let me get you home," Ward grabbed Grace's wrist.
