The Pogues all sat around the dock together as Grace strummed her guitar, softly singing. JJ just watched her, unable to believe what had happened moments before. Her soft voice was all he could hear as she mumbled the words to the song she had been working on, "cause they say the end is coming. I found myself running home to your sweet nothings." The words were so quiet they'd be inaudible if you didn't place your sole focus on her. JJ did.

"How much was it again?" JJ asked once Grace stopped singing.

"Four hundred mil," John B answered quickly.

Grace whistled as she moved to sit next to JJ. He immediately wrapped his arm around her waist like a reflex.

"All right, let's talk the split," JJ started. "Now, before we say "evenly," may I remind you that I am the only one that can properly defend us from those groupers who were after us. Protection? Not cheap, okay?"

Grace rolled her eyes.

"You haven't trained. You've done zero training," Pope argued.

"YouTube bro!"

"JJ, baby, by that logic I could be our defence. I have a Youtube account. Plus I think I could shoot a gun."

"You with a gun would be hot," JJ winked at her. "My defence skills are at least a 5% bump. Any objections?" he asked before quickly cutting off his friends' protests, "Didn't think so."

"What're you gonna do with your 80 mil Pope?" Kie asked, ignoring JJ.

"Pay for college in advance. And also, textbooks. Those are expensive," Pope answered.

"Oh my god, he's mathlete-ing again! I love when he does that. Don't you guys love when he does that?" Grace giggled.

"I like making fun of him when he does that," JJ shrugged. "What about you Kie?"

"Yeah, what does a socialist do when she's rich?" Pope mocked.

Grace raised her hand. "Become a dictator," she answered confidently. JJ laughed beside her.

"Just wanna make a double album. About OBX, the Pogues. You know, the way Catch a Fire is about Kingston. Record it at Marley Studio, Peter Tosh producing," Kie explained easily.

"You coming for my gig Kie?" Grace smiled. Grace's mom had taught them both guitar when they were younger. Kie was really good but Grace became border line obsessive with it. It was still nice to have someone who understood and loved music almost as much as her. Kie rolled her eyes with a smile.

"Peter Tosh is dead," Pope stated matter-of-factly.

"Spirit of Peter Tosh will never die," Kie argued.

"Agreed," Grace pointed at Kie.

"I know what I'll do. I'm gonna get a big ass house on Figure Eight and go full Kook," JJ said. "Gonna get a marble statue of myself, and then I'm gonna get a koi pond. Put a bunch of those fish..."

"I'm never visiting," Pope laughed.

"Me neither," Grace agreed.

"Well that makes sense Sunshine, you'll be living in it with me," JJ smirked.

Grace rolled her eyes while smiling, stomach tying in a knot at JJ so easily talking about their future.

"What about you Gracie?" Pope asked.

"I'm gonna become a musician. Produce a couple albums, maybe go on tour, then move in with JJ," Grace smiled. JJ looked over at her and smiled back.

"What're you gonna do B?" Grace asked the silent boy.
