"Oh shit! They found the truck," Kie exclaimed as they pulled up to the scene of the crash. The totalled truck was now engulfed in a red and blue light with the loud wail of sirens sounding out.
"Of course," JJ grumbled while pulling his hat over his head tightly. Kie dove down to duck behind JJ's seat.
"All right, just relax. Just relax," John B rambled as they slowed down and Shoupe made his way next to the Twinkie. "Good evening, Officer."
"Sheriff," Shoupe corrected while shining his flashlight into the van.
"Speed kills, huh?" John B kept a straight face on while looking back and forth between the wreck and the sheriff.
"I pulled the tags, and I know whose truck that is," Shop's voice raised as he looked into the backseat.
"What? You want an award?" Grace grumbled under her breath. The sheriff heard and shot her a warning glare. JJ glanced at her with his brows raised, silently telling her to shut up.
Shoupe shined his flashlight directly at Kie who was still crouched on the floor of the van. "Hey! Kie, you drop your weed pen back there?"
Kie tucked a piece of hair behind her ear while looking up at the cop. "Found it."
"Sheriff, I just wanna say that this is all my fault," Pope butted in. "She had nothing to do with this. I take 100% responsibility."
"Nothing to do with it? You wanna try that again?" Shoupe turned to Kie once more, "Your parents reported the truck missing four hours ago, and the keys were missing from the house. I'm taking you home. Or I can pull you all in for leaving the scene of an accident."
"Okay," Kie sighed.
"Good. Plumb," Shoupe gestured to the cop. She made her way around the van and slid open the back door.
Kie glanced up at Pope before standing from her spot on the floor and leaving the van. "I gotta deal. Hit me up later and make sure I'm alive."
The van was thick with stressed silence as they watched Kie follow Shoupe and Plumb.

"He's got the truck," JJ whispered as the walked along Tannyhill's walls.
"Stay low, stay low," John B shushed.
The group popped their heads over the wall to assess their circumstances.
The massive truck that had driven past them only a bit ago was pulling up to the front of the house.
"How much do you wanna bet that Rafe has the cross inside that truck right now?" Pope spoke, eyes staying glued to Rafe as he climbed out of the driver side.
"I'd bet the cross," Grace shrugged in response.
They watched as Rafe made his way into the house.
Sarah peeled herself away from the wall. "There's only one way to find out."
The group was quick to turn to her as she walked off.
"Hey, hey. Wait," John B whisper shouted.
JJ, Pope and Grace watched as Sarah whipped around to face him.
"Look, before you volunteer on this death mission, I need to know a couple things," John B spoke as the trio eaves dropped.
"Death mission," that sounds familiar," Sarah cut him off.
"Okay, look, Sarah, I just have some questions." John B's voice became more exasperated as he spoke.
"About what?"
