"Can't really go through the front gate," JJ told the girls as they hightailed it out of Kie's cabin. JJ and Grace had hurried over to Cabin 6 to find their friend and the moment the trio was reunited they made a run for it.

"You good?" Grace called over her shoulder to Kie who was right behind her.

Kie nodded, still running like her life depended on it.

They made their way past the Kitty Hawk sign while JJ whooped loudly.

Grace laughed happily, hand still clasped around JJ's as he pulled her along.

"I never thought we were gonna make it out!" Kie exclaimed.

"Gotta have more faith in me," JJ replied as they made it onto the main road.

"Mwah! This place can suck it!" Kie blew a kiss to the sign while grinning from ear to ear.

"Wilderness camp," JJ muttered sarcastically.

"Federal prison," Grace added still beaming.

"Where are we going? Is it this way?" Kie asked while glancing down at JJ and Grace's intertwined fingers and smirking to herself.

"Yeah, yeah, right up here," JJ replied while they climbed up a grassy hill onto the pavement. "This is where we're uh-"

"Why did you park so far?" Grace whispered to him.

"Kind of a long story," JJ answered while squeezing her hand, "but, um, because there's only one road into Kitty Hawk. And with the camp and Anna knowing what the Twinkie looks like, I thought it'd be best to leave it as a decoy."

"Smart," Grace muttered.

Kie tapped her on the shoulder while JJ stared out at the road expectantly.

Grace looked over at her friend who had her brows raised and a smug expression on her face. She rolled her eyes in response, still smiling wide.

"That's a cop. Go. Cop! Cop!" JJ's voice snapped them out of their teasing.

The trio scurried behind a bush making sure they were out of sight

Sirens wailed as the cop car sped past them.

"That's what the decoy's for," JJ whispered while they climbed back out from their hiding spot.

"So are we hitchhiking?" Kie asked as they stood back on the road.

"Not quite. We missed Ward's plane, but I got another plan," JJ answered.

Grace turned to Kie and they shared confused and mildy concerned looks.

"Come on, man. Where you at, dude?" JJ said under his breath.

Grace followed his line of sight to see headlights in the distance.

The revving of the engine could be heard even at a distance.

"Here he comes," JJ said before raising his voice, "Dude, come on!"

"Who is that?" Grace asked, eyes still glued to the approaching car.

JJ didn't answer he just continued waving his arms to signal the car towards them.

"Gracie, Kie, I want you to meet someone," JJ grinned while the car slowed to a top in front of them.

"Is that Barracuda Mike?" Kie asked incredulously.

Grace had her jaw dropped as she made eye contact with the man in the driver's seat.

"Yep," JJ answered simply.

"Bus is waiting. All aboard," Mike called.

JJ opened up the passenger side door for Kie. "Mike, Grace and Kiara. Kiara and Grace, Barracuda Mike," JJ introduced them.
