John B and Sarah had left Grace on the roof to go find some food. They told her she could come but she really didn't feel like watching them be all couple-y. John B had taken the phone to return to the cleaning lady despite Grace's pleading. She really wanted to just keep it and talk to her friends but Sarah reminded her that they didn't want to draw attention to themselves.

Grace sat on the edge of the roof and dangled her feet back and forth while staring out at the water. There was a guy out surfing. She couldn't make out any details but from her spot she could see his blonde hair. She frowned as she watched him. Eventually the sun set over the water and the surfer left the ocean. Grace leaned back to lie down with her hands behind her head and feet still dangling off the roof.

Tears welled in her eyes and a few rolled down her cheeks. She'd tried to stay positive but it was all becoming too much. If they had made it to Mexico things would've been significantly better for her. Her best friend would've been in the clear, they would be able to settle down and start again and most importantly the only thing stopping her from reuniting with JJ would be a plane ticket. Now she was stuck in Nassau with no clear way out.

Grace picked up her hand and held it in front of her face. The ring was still there, undamaged despite the chaos. She wanted to go back to the Outerbanks and get married to JJ. When he told her he wanted to marry her she was shocked but now she'd want nothing more. She didn't even care if they used the sun ring and the engraved ring and got married some place on the Cut. She just wanted certainty. She needed something stable.

When footsteps approached she quickly wiped her tears and sat up.

"We brought you food," Sarah smiled sympathetically, noticing her tear stained cheeks.

Grace got up from her spot and grabbed the plate, "Thanks."

The trio all sat down on their lawn chairs and chatted softly as Grace ate. Once Grace was done they all tried to get as comfy as possible.

Grace once again couldn't sleep. She stared up at the stars and had her brain flooded with JJ. She just couldn't get him off her mind. At this point how much she thought about him seemed like some sort of health issue. Just as she was on the verge of insanity she saw John B sit up out of the corner of her eye.

She stayed silent and still and watched as he looked back and forth between the Cameron mansion and Sarah. Eventually he groaned and threw himself back down onto the lawn chair.

He seemed to have fallen back asleep so Grace rolled over and looked out at the ocean again. Her eyes finally grew heavy and her thoughts were drowned out by the ocean waves. Just as she was about to fall asleep John B shot up. Grace flinched then sat up.

"You okay, B?"

He seemed surprised that she was awake but responded nonetheless, "Yeah, yeah. Just a nightmare. I'm okay."

His shaky voice and trembling body told a different story so Grace made her way over to him and wrapped him in a hug.

They stayed hugging for a couple minutes then pulled apart and sat next to each other. They both stared out at the mansion.

"I think you should do it," Grace said suddenly, breaking the silence.

"What?"

"You're going to think about the gold everyday for the rest of your life if you don't. I think you should go to the house."

John B looked slightly shocked.

"You want me to go break in?"

"Of course I don't want you to. You're totally having a JJ moment right now but I know him better than anybody. It drives him insane when he doesn't do what he thinks he should, no matter how stupid it is," Grace shrugged then stood and held her hand out.
