"Harry!" Flying off the bed I watched Louis jump back laughing. "We need butter."
Wiping my hands over my face I looked up at him, the stupid grin on his face told me what kind of day this was about to me.
"Don't know that I hate you?" He puckers his lips. "Sure sweetie. Come on now, get dressed. Shirts are voluntary."
"Whore." Standing up from the floor I tie my pants properly, leaning down to kiss him. "I still hate you."
"And you're still sexy as fuck." He runs at me, biting my arm before skipping out of the room.
"Please be quick my love. I do need food now." I took a deep breath in, trying to calm myself down before he ruins my day completely.
"It's fine, it's fine. He'll calm down."
*he did not calm down*
Louis starts running around screaming, running into the wall and squashing himself into it. "I'm so warm."
"There's many words that could also describe you but if I use them I fear I may go to hell." He looked like a fucking idiot. "You're being mean to me but next time we have sex you know I'm going to ruin your life."
"But right now you're just fucking stupid as shit." He stumbles backwards letting himself fall into the pool.
"Oh I found a leaf!" He swims towards the bottom, shooting up with the leaf in hand.
"Harry look! I found a leaf!" Dropping the book down for the thousandth time he waves the leaf around. "Very cute."
"Thanks." He was just messing around with the leaves he found.
Then it got quiet, when I put my book down he jumped on me. Soaking wet and fucking heavy. He has so much muscle on him it was a mystery to how it got there. "Louis you fucking cretin! Get off me!"
"Hey, do you think, that-" he starts coughing, laughing at himself. "Sorry, I just swallowed a fly. Do you think we can get ice cream later and walk near the sand, I like the sound it makes."
"Evan and Darla are coming round soon m so it'll have to be after or bring them with us." He shrugs. "I don't care. As long. As I get to hear the sand I'm fine."
"Okay. Then yeah we can go later. When it gets a little darker cause it's less busy." He kisses my chest. "Okay. You're so warm."
It was really warm today, it shouldn't be, but it is. "You're fucking soaked. My book is ruined."
"Sorry baby," He kisses my cheek. "I'll buy you a new one. Promise." He kisses my other cheek. "It's fine it'll dry. I, may have- invited your mum round. Sorry."
"Oh no it's fine. I'm glad you did, I forgot to get her number before we left I was going to ask anyway." He was especially giddy today. "I think I just heard her in the garden."
"Mama!" He jumps up, running around towards the front.
I take my shirt, quickly putting it on moving up to the end of the chair. "Hi Harry."
"Hi. You alright?" She mumbles out a yes. Sitting in the seat beside me. Louis sits behind me hugging himself around me. "Louis Darla and Evan are almost here!"
"Damn it. Okay!" He kisses my back, pulling me down until I was squashing him. "This is normal. Normal people do this."
"No they don't." I said. "Harry shut up. Now I'm leaving." He pushes me away, running and falling into the pool. "He's had sugar. Why?"
"It helps with his drinking. He says it's better for him in the long run to eat sweets. Gets rid of the urge to drink." She pulls my chair closer to her. "How long have you two, been together? Like how long has Louis been telling people he's got a girlfriend?"
"About a month. How'd you know he did that?" She rolls her eyes. "He might not enjoy people but he sure loves to brag. Anybody else in the world I think he'd keep it a secret but for some reason he just really likes you."
"Guess that's a good thing really." She ruffles my hair. "Yeah."
Darla strops over. "Hi pretty girl. You okay?" She nods, falling into my arms. "I missed you." She sighs. "I missed you too."
"I think Evan found out about the other day. Nina has been on his back the other day and he seems really on edge."
Louis was bound to help take his mind off it. "Don't worry too much about it, he'll be fine, Louis' around he's not gonna let him do anything stupid."
"Yeah. Okay I'm gonna go get in the pool." Evan runs at me, swapping places with Darla.
"Really?" He jumps on me, letting out a loud sigh. "This is getting ridiculous."
"Thanks for helping her the other day. I'm trying to- fight the urge to kill him. It's slowly fading but I just needed to say thank you."
"Yeah of course. Just make sure she knows you're not gonna do anything stupid. Have you heard from Luna at all?" He giggles to himself.
"Her and Willow went up to Arizona for the week." Why would anybody do that? "Why?"
"Said they had to do something. She's doing good though. Okay I'm gonna go." He runs off, falling into the pool the same way Louis did.
"They're like puppies." Heather laughs. "It's worse when they're all hyperactive cause they just never stop moving. I talk a lot but they just never stop moving."
"What!?" Darla yells, Louis face going red. "What?" He asks. "Did you hear what you just said? Do you know? Louis do you know what you just said?"
His poor was probably racing. "No, what happened?" Darla turns to face me.
I'd tried to act like I hadn't the foggiest of what was happening. "You're the girlfriend!" I shake my head. "What?"
Louis was just stood there, staring at me like I was about to yell at him. "Wait, no that's- you don't, wait. What?"
"I don't even know what I said." He sounded like he was on the verge of tears. "Nothing. Never mind it was probably just me." I couldn't do anything to help.
He didn't dwell on it too long. He was jumping around again after about five minutes.
"What did he say?" I turned to Heather but she just shrugged. "I'm not sure but he didn't seem to like it." Darla knew what he said, she probably knew it was true as well.
But he wasn't ready. She knew that. "I'll just figure it out later it's fine."
