Chapter 29

NICHOLAS ACCARDI

As soon as Nicholas saw the time on the library wall clock, he cursed his luck. "Finally there was some progress between us and now it's fucked."

He ran a hand through his messy hair and sighed heavily.

"And then Sienna says, i'm going to have a great love life, seriously?" Nicholas was still busy cursing his luck, because he couldn't curse Penelope. Afterall, she was his wife's best friend, who by the way was the reason behind why he was sitting in the library alone, but still.

And suddenly he heard heel clicking noise from the living room, and he jumped up in excitement, almost too confident over the fact that Penelope was ready to leave. So, Nicholas masked his way to happy expressions and walked out of the library casually, with both hands in his pant pockets.

And the moment he entered the living room, he heard what wasn't meant for him to hear.

"I Bet, he'll be good in bed too and let me tell you he's definitely going to fulfill your praise kink, huh." Penelope said, in between her excited giggles.

"Penny." Sienna scolded her with an embarrassed red face.

Even though the unexpected knowledge was great for him, but still he wasn't going to have anyone embarrass his wife like that. So, Nicholas stepped up and said, "I'll have Felix drop you home, Ms. Diaz." while walking casually inside the living room knowing damn well, Felix will ruin his next morning but he needed to do it.

"Of course, Mr. Accardi. Hope you have a great evening ahead." Penelope said and winked Sienna's way.

As Sienna stood by the main door seeing Penelope's retrieving figure, Nicholas's eyes were fixed on his wife. He could see the embarrassment in her body language but he was glad about the fact that she still looked approachable.

"So, i think we should continue from where we left." Nicholas said trying to tease his wife some more.

Sienna cleared her throat and turned around. Nicholas could see a hint of desire, still in her eyes but now somehow it was covered with a bit of hesitation.

Sienna nodded her head and started to walk towards the stairs leading to their bedroom. And Nicholas followed her silently, without having a glue what was going inside the beautiful head of his beautiful wife.

Once they reached the bedroom, Sienna sat on the bed and patted the space beside her, motioning Nicholas to sit beside her. Her demeanor suddenly silent and serious. "Did i say something wrong?" Nicholas thought but as he was about to voice out his thoughts Sienna started to talk about something he wasn't expecting at all.

"Nicholas, i want to be honest with you. I'm attracted to you." Sienna's admission made Nicholas smile because he was already aware of this fact.

"I kn..." Nicholas couldn't complete his sentence because Sienna interrupted him in between.

"Physically... too." Sienna said and Nicholas gulped loudly.

It was one thing knowing it but it was totally different thing hearing Sienna admit it so seriously. But the moment her eyes looked into Nicholas's eyes, he knew Sienna's admission was just a small part of what was coming further. And he knew he was ready for it, whatever she wanted to share with him, he was ready to hear it. Even though it might kill him to hear her biggest fears but he will hear it and help her get away from it.
He can do this much for his love.
He just have to be strong... For her.
