Chapter 13

NICHOLAS ACCARDI

"Take me home, please."
The way her voice was breaking in that sentence, it broke his heart.

As soon as Nicholas came back in the Avenue hall, he realised Sienna was not there. He looked everywhere, twice. In case he missed at first. But no, she was really not there and the mere thought of losing Sienna in this big crowd unsettled him to the core. But then he tried to calm himself and went towards his mother, "Maa, Sienna was with you, right?" Nicholas asked trying to keep his voice cool and normal.
"She was, but then she said she was going to the restroom and it has already been like 15 minutes but she's not here, I was about to go and check on her, but now you're here, Go find her." His mother said with a smile.
"Ofcourse." Nicholas said trying to control his facial muscles.
And then he almost stopped himself from running in the direction of the restroom.
"How could I leave her alone, knowing very well that she feel anxious in crowd. She came here only because of me, and now I've lost her. Fucking idiot, Nick." He scolded himself while walking in the direction of restrooms.

The moment Nicholas found Sienna almost lying down on the washroom floor. His heart felt constricted, as if he was in a claustrophobic place. As if suddenly someone was pulling on his heart strings and he didn't like it, not one bit. But what he hated most, was to see Sienna in pain. God, how badly he wished that pain to be a human being so, that he could've killed that pain, within seconds to see his Sienna looking at him again with those beautiful eyes, with shyness and something more in them. And not with this hell lot of a pain.

"It hurts." Sienna whispered again and without wasting another second Nicholas picked her up in his arms and exited the restroom.
There he found Anna in the hallway coming in the direction of restrooms. As soon as she saw Nicholas and Sienna she ran towards them with a concerned face, "What's wrong? What happened to her?" She asked worriedly.
And Nicholas felt Sienna burry her face in his chest. "Not well. I'm taking her home. Tell mom and dad." Nicholas said and Anna nodded stepping aside to give him some room to walk away. "Can you please inform Alex to come to the back exit with other guards? Anna." Nicholas said asking Anna politely. "Ofcourse, ofcourse." Anna said and walked back towards the hall to find Alex.
Nicholas took the back exit and the moment he went down the stairs his car pulled up in front of him along with two more cars. Alex stepped out of the and immediately opened the backseat for Nicholas. And asked, "Do you want me to make a stop at a hospital?" Alex asked and Nicholas was about to say something but Sienna grunted, "No."
Nicholas looked down at her almost hidden face in his chest and said, "But baby?"
"No, please." Sienna whispered and then said, "Home."
Nicholas looked at her with worried eyes but nodded his head at Alex. Then he put down Sienna inside the car and joined her.
As soon as he sat down in the car, he hauled Sienna on his lap and hugged her tightly, she held him back and again burried her face in his neck.
"It's ok baby, we'll be home within few minutes, okay." Nicholas cooed softly into Sienna's ears.
Sienna nodded her head and held him closer, than he was before.
Nicholas was worried looking at her body tightly wrapped around his and sighed heavily. He didn't even know what has suddenly happened to Sienna and why she didn't even want to visit a doctor but before his mind could wander anymore. He heard Sienna whispering softly, "Nicholas, i .... I need tampons."
The moment he heard her words he felt relieved because, no one else has hurt her, but then he again looked down at her tensed body and he pulled her closer and said, "Ofcourse, I'll get them for you. Do you need something else too?" He asked softly.
Sienna shook her head and continued holding him tightly.
"Just few more minutes and we'll be home, ok!" Nicholas said and started slowly rubbing her back up and down. And then he took out his phone from his pants pocket and messaged Milene.
And then while he was still rubbing Sienna's back slowly, his eyes drifted to the rearview mirror and saw Alex gaze on him. He was looking at Nicholas with amused look but Nicholas didn't have time to ask him what has amused hum suddenly.
So, he simply ignored him.
